The Nativity of the Lord – Christmas

First Reading: Is 52:7-10

读经一（大地四极看见了我们天主的救恩。）

恭读依撒意亚先知书 52:7-10

 

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings glad tidings, announcing peace, bearing good news, announcing salvation, and saying to Zion, "Your God is King!"

那传报喜讯者的脚步，是多么美丽啊！他在山上宣布和平，传报佳音，宣扬救恩，给熙雍说：“你的天主为王了！”

 

Hark! Your sentinels raise a cry, together they shout for joy, for they see directly, before their eyes, the LORD restoring Zion. Break out together in song, O ruins of Jerusalem!

请听，你的守望者一起高声欢呼，因为他们亲眼看见上主返回了熙雍。耶路撒冷的废墟啊！你们要兴高采烈，一起欢呼，

 

For the LORD comforts his people, he redeems Jerusalem. The LORD has bared his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; all the ends of the earth will behold the salvation of our God.

因为上主安慰了自己的百姓，救赎了耶路撒冷。上主在万民眼前，显露了自己神圣的手臂；大地四极看见了我们天主的救恩。

Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done wondrous deeds; his right hand has won victory for him, his holy arm.

领：请众向上主歌唱新歌，因为祂行了奇事。祂的右手和祂神圣的手臂，为祂获得了胜利。

 

R. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.

【答】：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。

 

The LORD has made his salvation known: in the sight of the nations he has revealed his justice. He has remembered his kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel.

领：上主已经宣布了自己的救恩，将自己的正义启示给万民。祂记起了自己的良善和信实，即向以色列家族所广施的宽仁。

 

R. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.

【答】：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。

 

All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation by our God. Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands; break into song; sing praise.

领：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。因此，普世大地，请向上主歌舞，请踊跃，请欢乐，请弹琴演奏。

 

R. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.

【答】：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。

 

Sing praise to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and melodious song. With trumpets and the sound of the horn sing joyfully before the King, the LORD.

领：弹著竖琴，向上主赞颂；弹著竖琴，伴着絃韵。吹起喇叭，响起号角，在上主君王面前讴歌。

【答】：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。

 

Second Reading : Heb 1:1-6

读经二（天主藉圣子对我们说了话。）

恭读致希伯来人书 1:1-6

 

Brothers and sisters: In times past, God spoke in partial and various ways to our ancestors through the prophets; in these last days, he has spoken to us through the Son,

天主在古时，曾多次，并以多种方式，藉著先知，对我们的祖先说过话。但在这末期，他藉著自己的儿子，对我们说了话。

 

whom he made heir of all things and through whom he created the universe, who is the refulgence of his glory, the very imprint of his being, and who sustains all things by his mighty word.

天主立了他为万有的承继者，并藉着他，造成了宇宙。他是天主光荣的反映，是天主本体的真像；他以自己大能的话，支撑万有。

 

When he had accomplished purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high, as far superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

当他涤除了罪恶之后，便在高天之上，坐于“尊威者”的右边。他所承受的名字，既然超越众天使的名字，所以他远超过众天使之上。

 

For to which of the angels did God ever say: You are my son; this day I have begotten you? Or again: I will be a father to him, and he shall be a son to me?

天主曾向那一位天使说过：“你是我的儿子，我今日生了你？”或说过：“我要作他的父亲，他要作我的儿子？”

 

And again, when he leads the firstborn into the world, he says: Let all the angels of God worship him.

然而，当天主引领“首生子”进入世界的时候，就说：“天主的众天使都要崇拜他。”

Gospel  Jn 1:1-18

福音（圣言成了血肉，寄居在我们中间。）

恭读圣若望福音 1:1-18

 

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.

在起初已有圣言，圣言与天主同在，圣言就是天主。圣言在起初，就与天主同在。

 

All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be.

万物是藉着他而造成的；凡受造的，没有一样不是由他而造成的。

 

What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

在他内有生命，这生命是人的光。光在黑暗中照耀，黑暗决胜不过他。

 

A man named John was sent from God. He came for testimony, to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him.

曾有一人，是由天主派遣来的，名叫若翰。这人来，是为作证，为给光作证，为使众人藉他而信。

 

He was not the light, but came to testify to the light. The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world.

他不是那光，只是为给那光作证。那照亮每人的真光，正在进入这世界；

 

He was in the world, and the world came to be through him, but the world did not know him. He came to what was his own, but his own people did not accept him.

他已在世界上，世界原是藉他造成的；但世界却不认识他。他来到了自己的地方，自己的人却没有接受他。

 

But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believe in his name,

但是，凡接受他的，他给他们，即给那些信他名字的人权能，好成为天主的子女。

 

who were born not by natural generation nor by human choice nor by a man's decision but of God.

他们不是由精血，也不是由肉欲，也不是由男欲，而是由天主生的。

 

And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father's only Son, full of grace and truth.

于是，圣言成了血肉，寄居在我们中间；我们见了他的光荣，正如父独生者的光荣，满溢恩宠和真理。

 

John testified to him and cried out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'The one who is coming after me ranks ahead of me because he existed before me.'"

若翰为他作证，呼喊说：“这就是我所说的：那在我以后来的，成了在我以前的，因他原先我而有。”

 

From his fullness we have all received, grace in place of grace, because while the law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

从他的满盈中，我们都领受了恩宠，而且恩宠上加恩宠。因为法律是藉梅瑟传授的，恩宠和真理却是由耶稣基督而来的。

 

No one has ever seen God. The only Son, God, who is at the Father's side, has revealed him.

从来没有人见过天主，只有那在父怀里的独生者，身为天主的，他给我们详述了。
