First Reading: ROM 1:1-7

读经一（藉着基督，我们领受了宗徒职务的恩宠，为使万民服从信德。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致罗马人书 1:1-7

 

Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, called to be an Apostle and set apart for the Gospel of God, which he promised previously through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, the Gospel about his Son,

弟兄们：基督耶稣的仆人保禄，蒙召作宗徒，被选拔为传天主的福音；这福音是天主先前藉自己的先知在圣经上所预许的，是论及他的儿子，

 

descended from David according to the flesh, but established as Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness through resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord.

我们的主耶稣基督，他按肉身是生于达味的后裔，按至圣的神性，由于他从死者中复活，被立为具有大能的天主之子。

 

Through him we have received the grace of apostleship, to bring about the obedience of faith, for the sake of his name,

藉着他，我们领受了宗徒职务的恩宠，为使万民服从信德，以光荣他的圣名，

 

among all the Gentiles, among whom are you also, who are called to belong to Jesus Christ; to all the beloved of God in Rome, called to be holy.

其中也有你们这些蒙召属于耶稣基督的人。我保禄致书给一切住在罗马，为天主所钟爱，并蒙召为圣徒的人：

 

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

愿恩宠与平安由我们的父天主，和我们的主耶稣基督赐与你们。

【答】：上主已经宣布了自己的救恩。

 

Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done wondrous deeds; His right hand has won victory for him, his holy arm.

领：请众向上主歌唱新歌，因为他行了奇事。他的右手和他的圣臂，为他获得了胜利。

 

R. The Lord has made known his salvation.

【答】：上主已经宣布了自己的救恩。

 

The LORD has made his salvation known: in the sight of the nations he has revealed his justice. He has remembered his kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel.

领：上主已经宣布了自己的救恩，将自己的正义启示给万民。他记起了自己的良善和忠诚，即向以色列家族广施的宽仁。

 

R. The Lord has made known his salvation.

【答】：上主已经宣布了自己的救恩。

 

All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation by our God. Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands; break into song; sing praise.

领：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。因此，普世大地，请向上主歌舞，请踊跃，请欢乐，弹琴演奏。

【答】：上主已经宣布了自己的救恩。

 

Gospel Lk 11:29-32

福音（除了约纳的征兆外，必不给这一世代任何其他征兆。）

恭读圣路加福音 11:29-32

 

While still more people gathered in the crowd, Jesus said to them, "This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah.

群众集合拢来的时候，耶稣开始说：“这一世代是一邪恶的世代：它要求征兆，除了约纳的征兆外，必不给它任何其他征兆。

 

Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation.

因为，有如约纳为尼尼微人是个征兆，将来人子为这一世代也是这样。

 

At the judgment the queen of the south will rise with the men of this generation and she will condemn them,

南方的女王在审判时，将同这一代人起来，定他们的罪，

 

because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and there is something greater than Solomon here.

因为她从地极而来，为听撒罗满的智慧；看，这里有一位比撒罗满更大的！

 

At the judgment the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because at the preaching of Jonah they repented,

尼尼微人在审判时，将同这一代人起来，定他们的罪，因为尼尼微人因了约纳的宣讲而悔改了；

 

and there is something greater than Jonah here."

看，这里有一位比约纳更大的！”
