First Reading:  GN 3:9-24

读经一（上主天主把亚当赶出伊甸乐园，叫他耕种土地。）

恭读创世纪 3:9-24

 

The LORD God called to Adam and asked him, “Where are you?” He answered, “I heard you in the garden; but I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid myself.”

亚当吃了树上的果子以后，上主天主呼唤他对他说：“你在那里？”他答说：“我在乐园中听到了你的声音，就害怕起来，因为我赤身露体，遂躲藏了。”

 

Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked? You have eaten, then, from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!”

天主说：“谁告诉了你，赤身露体？莫非你吃了我禁止你吃的果子？”

 

The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.”

亚当说：“是你给我作伴的那个女人给了我那树上的果子，我才吃了。”

 

The LORD God then asked the woman, “Why did you do such a thing?” The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.”

上主天主遂对女人说：“你为什么作了这事？”女人答说：“是蛇哄骗了我，我才吃了。”

 

Then the LORD God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, you shall be banned from all the animals and from all the wild creatures;

上主天主对蛇说：“因你做了这事，你在一切畜牲和野兽中，是可咒骂的；

 

On your belly shall you crawl, and dirt shall you eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel.”

你要用肚子爬行，毕生日日吃土。我要把仇恨放在你和女人，你的后裔和她的后裔之间，她的后裔要踏碎你的头颅，你要伤害他的脚跟。”

 

To the woman he said: “I will intensify the pangs of your childbearing; in pain shall you bring forth children. Yet your urge shall be for your husband, and he shall be your master.”

然后对女人说：“我要增加你怀孕的苦楚，在痛苦中生子；你要依恋你的丈夫，也要受他的管辖。”

 

To the man he said:  “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat, “Cursed be the ground because of you! In toil shall you eat its yield all the days of your life.

后对亚当说：“因为你听了你妻子的话，吃了我禁止你吃的果子，为了你的缘故，地成了可咒骂的；你一生日日劳苦才能得到吃食。

 

Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to you, as you eat of the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face shall you get bread to eat, until you return to the ground, from which you were taken; For you are dirt, and to dirt you shall return.”

地要给你生出荆棘和蒺藜，你要吃田间的蔬菜；你必须汗流满面，才有饭吃，直到你归于土中，因为你是由土来的；你既是灰土，你还要归于灰土。”

 

The man called his wife Eve, because she became the mother of all the living. For the man and his wife the LORD God made leather garments, with which he clothed them.

亚当给自己的妻子起名叫厄娃，因为她是众生的母亲。上主天主为亚当和他的妻子做了件皮衣，给他们穿上；

 

Then the LORD God said: “See! The man has become like one of us, knowing what is good and what is evil! Therefore, he must not be allowed to put out his hand to take fruit from the tree of life also, and thus eat of it and live forever.”

然后上主天主说：“看，人已相似我们中的一个，知道了善恶；如今不要让他伸手再摘取生命树上的果子，吃了活到永远。”

 

The LORD God therefore banished him from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he had been taken.

上主天主遂把他赶出伊甸乐园，叫他耕种他所由出的土地。

 

When he expelled the man, he settled him east of the garden of Eden; and he stationed the cherubim and the fiery revolving sword, to guard the way to the tree of life.

天主将亚当逐出了以后，就在伊甸乐园的东面，派了“革鲁宾”和刀光四射的火剑，防守到生命树去的路。

【答】：主，从永远到永远，你作了我们的靠山。

 

Before the mountains were begotten and the earth and the world were brought forth, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

领：群山尚未形成，大地寰球尚末生出，从永远直到永远，你就已经是天主。

 

R. In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge.

【答】：主，从永远到永远，你作了我们的靠山。

 

You turn man back to dust, saying, “Return, O children of men.” For a thousand years in your sight are as yesterday, now that it is past, or as a watch of the night.

领：你命世人们仍归灰尘，说：归来，亚当的子孙们！因为千年在你的眼前，好像是刚过去的昨天，好像夜里的一更时间。

 

R. In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge.

【答】：主，从永远到永远，你作了我们的靠山。

 

You make an end of them in their sleep; the next morning they are like the changing grass, Which at dawn springs up anew, but by evening wilts and fades.

领：你消除他们，使他们有如清晨一觉，又使他们有如刚出生的嫩苗青草，早晨虽然旺盛繁茂，傍晚割去即形枯槁。

 

R. In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge.

【答】：主，从永远到永远，你作了我们的靠山。

 

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain wisdom of heart. Return, O LORD! How long? Have pity on your servants!

领：求你教导我们详数年岁，使我们达到内心的智慧。上主，求你归来，尚待何时？求你快来怜恤你的仆役！

【答】：主，从永远到永远，你作了我们的靠山。

 

Gospel  MK 8:1-10

福音（众人都吃饱了。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 8:1-10

 

In those days when there again was a great crowd without anything to eat, Jesus summoned the disciples and said, “My heart is moved with pity for the crowd, because they have been with me now for three days and have nothing to eat.

在那些日子，有一大群人，没有什么吃的了。耶稣叫过门徒来，给他们说：“我很怜悯这批群众，因为他们同我在一起已经三天，也没有什么可吃的了。

 

If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will collapse on the way, and some of them have come a great distance.”

我若遣散他们空着肚子各自回家，他们必要在路上晕倒；况且他们中还有些是从远处来的。”

 

His disciples answered him, “Where can anyone get enough bread to satisfy them here in this deserted place?” Still he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?”

门徒回答说：“在这荒野里，人从那里能得饼，使这些人吃饱呢？”耶稣问他们说：“你们有多少饼？”

 

They replied, “Seven.” He ordered the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then, taking the seven loaves he gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to distribute, and they distributed them to the crowd.

他们说：“七个。”耶稣就吩咐群众坐在地上，拿起那七个饼来，祝谢了，擘开，递给他的门徒，叫他们分开；他们就给群众分开。

 

They also had a few fish. He said the blessing over them and ordered them distributed also. They ate and were satisfied. They picked up the fragments left over–seven baskets.

又有几条小鱼，耶稣祝福后，也吩咐把这些小鱼分开。人都吃饱了，把剩下来的碎块收集了七篮子。

 

There were about four thousand people. He dismissed the crowd and got into the boat with his disciples and came to the region of Dalmanutha.

人数约有四千；然后耶稣遣散了他们，即刻同门徒上船，来到了达玛奴达境内。
