Beloved: Who is the liar? Whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Whoever denies the Father and the Son, this is the antichrist.

弟兄们：谁是撒谎的呢？岂不是那否认耶稣为默西亚的吗？那否认父和子的，这人便是假基督。

 

Anyone who denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.

凡否认子的，也否认父；那明认子的，也有父。

 

Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son and in the Father.

至于你们，应把从起初所听见的，存留在你们内；如果你们从起初所听见的，存留在你们内，你们必存留在子和父内。

 

And this is the promise that he made us: eternal life. I write you these things about those who would deceive you.

这就是他给我们所预许的恩惠：即永远的生命。这些就是我关于迷惑你们的人，给你们所写的。

 

As for you, the anointing that you received from him remains in you, so that you do not need anyone to teach you.

至于你们，你们由他所领受的傅油，常存在你们内，你们就不需要谁教训你们，

 

But his anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not false; just as it taught you, remain in him.

而是有他的傅油教训你们一切。这傅油是真实的，决不虚假，所以这傅油怎样教训你们，你们就怎样存留在他内。

 

And now, children, remain in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be put to shame by him at his coming.

现在，孩子们，你们常存在他内吧！为的是当他显现时，我们可以放心大胆，在他来临时，不致于在他面前蒙羞。

Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done wondrous deeds; His right hand has won victory for him, his holy arm.

领：请众向上主歌唱新歌，因为他行了奇事。他的右手和他的圣臂，为他获得了胜利。

 

R. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.

【答】：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。

 

The LORD has made his salvation known: in the sight of the nations he has revealed his justice. He has remembered his kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel.

领：上主已经宣布了自己的救恩，将自己的正义已启示给万民。他记起了自己的良善和忠诚，即向以色列家族广施的宽仁。

【答】：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。

 

All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation by our God. Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands; break into song; sing praise.

领：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。因此，普世大地，请向上主歌舞，请踊跃，请欢乐，弹琴演奏。

Gospel  Jn 1:19-28

福音（他在我以后来，却先我而生。）

恭读圣若望福音 1:19-28

 

This is the testimony of John. When the Jews from Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to him to ask him, "Who are you?"

这是若翰所作的见证：当犹太人从耶路撒冷派遣了司祭和肋未人，到他那里问他说：“你是谁”

 

He admitted and did not deny it, but admitted, "I am not the Christ."

他明明承认，并没有否认，他明认说：“我不是默西亚。”

 

So they asked him, "What are you then? Are you Elijah?" And he said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" He answered, "No."

他们问他说："那么你是谁？你是厄里亚吗？"他说："我不是。""你是那位先知吗？"他回答说："不是。"

 

So they said to him, "Who are you, so we can give an answer to those who sent us? What do you have to say for yourself?" He said: "I am the voice of one crying out in the desert,

于是他们问他说："你究竟是谁？好叫我们给那派遣我们来的人一个答复。你自己说你是谁？"他说："我是在旷野里呼喊者的声音：

 

'Make straight the way of the Lord,' as Isaiah the prophet said." Some Pharisees were also sent.

修直上主的道路！正如依撒意亚先知所说的。"被派遣来的有些是法利塞人。

 

They asked him, "Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ or Elijah or the Prophet?"

他们又问他说："你既不是默西亚，又不是厄里亚，又不是那位先知，那么，你为什么施洗呢？"

 

John answered them, "I baptize with water; but there is one among you whom you do not recognize, the one who is coming after me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to untie."

若翰答复他们说："我以水施洗。你们中间站着一位，是你们不认识的；他在我以后来，我却当不起解他的鞋带。"

 

This happened in Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

这些事发生于约旦河对岸的伯达尼，若翰施洗的地方。
