First Reading:  1 Jn 1:5-2:2

读经一（耶稣基督的血会洗净我们的各种罪过。）

恭读圣若望一书  1:5-2:2

 

Beloved: This is the message that we have heard from Jesus Christ and proclaim to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all.

亲爱的诸位：我们由耶稣基督所听见，而报传给你们的，就是这个信息：天主是光，在他内没有一点黑暗。

 

If we say, “We have fellowship with him,” while we continue to walk in darkness, we lie and do not act in truth.

如果我们说我们与他相通，但仍在黑暗中行走，我们就是说谎，不履行真理。

 

But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of his Son Jesus cleanses us from all sin.

但如果我们在光中行走，如同他在光中一样，我们就彼此相通，他圣子耶稣的血就会洗净我们的各种罪过。

 

If we say, “We are without sin,” we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

如果我们说我们没有罪过，就是欺骗自己，真理也不在我们内。

 

If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing.

但若我们明认我们的罪过，天主既是忠信正义的，必赦免我们的罪过，并洗净我们的各种不义。

 

If we say, “We have not sinned,” we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

如果我们说我们没有犯过罪，我们就是拿他当说谎者，他的话就不在我们内。

 

My children, I am writing this to you so that you may not commit sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous one.

我的孩子们，我给你们写这些事，是为叫你们不犯罪；但是，谁若犯了罪，我们在父那里有正义的耶稣基督作护卫者。

 

He is expiation for our sins, and not for our sins only but for those of the whole world.

他自己就是赎罪祭，赎我们的罪过，不但赎我们的，而且也赎全世界的罪过。

R. Our soul has been rescued like a bird from the fowler's snare.

【答】：我们像挣脱猎人罗网的小鸟。

 

Had not the LORD been with us—When men rose up against us, then would they have swallowed us alive, When their fury was inflamed against us.

领：若不是上主保佑我们，当世人起来攻击我们，并向我们发泄怒火时，必会活活将我们吞食。

 

R. Our soul has been rescued like a bird from the fowler's snare.

【答】：我们像挣脱猎人罗网的小鸟。

 

Then would the waters have overwhelmed us; The torrent would have swept over us; over us then would have swept the raging waters.

领：他们就像淹没我们的水祸，流过我们颈项的洪波。又像汹涌澎湃的狂浪，早已将我们淹没灭亡。

 

R. Our soul has been rescued like a bird from the fowler's snare.

【答】：我们像挣脱猎人罗网的小鸟。

 

Broken was the snare, and we were freed. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

领：罗网被扯破了，我们自然逃掉。我们的救助是仰赖上主的名，上天和下地都是由他所造成。

【答】：我们像挣脱猎人罗网的小鸟。

 

Gospel  Mt 2:13-18

福音（黑落德差人将白冷及其周围境内所有两岁及两岁以下的婴儿杀死。）

恭读圣玛窦福音  2:13-18

 

When the magi had departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said,

贤士们离去后，看，上主的天使托梦显于若瑟说：

 

“Rise, take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you. Herod is going to search for the child to destroy him.”

 “起来，带着婴孩和他的母亲逃往埃及去，住在那里，直到我再通知你，因为黑落德即将寻找这婴孩，要把他杀掉。”

 

Joseph rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed for Egypt. He stayed there until the death of Herod,

若瑟便起来，星夜带了婴孩和他的母亲，退避到埃及去了。留在那里，直到黑落德死去。

 

that what the Lord had said through the prophet might be fulfilled, out of Egypt I called my son.

这就应验了上主藉先知所说的话：“我从埃及召回了我的儿子。”

 

When Herod realized that he had been deceived by the magi, he became furious.

那时，黑落德见自己受了贤士们的愚弄，就大发忿怒，

 

He ordered the massacre of all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had ascertained from the magi.

依照他由贤士们所探得的时期，差人将白冷及其周围境内所有两岁及两岁以下的婴儿杀死，

 

Then was fulfilled what had been said through Jeremiah the prophet: A voice was heard in Ramah, sobbing and loud lamentation;

于是应验了耶肋米亚先知所说的话：“在辣玛听到了声音，痛哭哀号不止；

 

Rachel weeping for her children, and she would not be consoled, since they were no more.

辣黑耳痛哭她的子女，不愿受人的安慰，因为他们不在了。”
