Jacob called his sons and said to them: “Assemble and listen, sons of Jacob, listen to Israel, your father. “You, Judah, shall your brothers praise

那时，雅各伯叫了他的儿子来，说：“儿子！你们集合静听，静听你们父亲以色列的话：犹大！你将受你兄弟的赞扬；

 

your hand on the neck of your enemies; the sons of your father shall bow down to you. Judah, like a lion's whelp, you have grown up on prey, my son.

你的手必压在你仇敌的颈上；你父亲的儿子要向你俯首致敬。犹大是只幼狮；我儿，你猎取食物后上来，

 

He crouches like a lion recumbent, the king of beasts–who would dare rouse him?

屈身伏卧，有如雄狮，又如母狮，谁敢惊动？

 

The scepter shall never depart from Judah, or the mace from between his legs, While tribute is brought to him, and he receives the people’s homage.”

权杖不离犹大，柄杖不离他脚间，直到那应得权杖者来到，万民都要归顺他。”

O God, with your judgment endow the king, and with your justice, the king’s son; He shall govern your people with justice and your afflicted ones with judgment.

领：天主，求你给君王传授你的权柄，求你给太子传授你的公正。使他照正义统治你的百姓，使他按公道管理你的平民。

 

R. Justice shall flourish in his time, and fullness of peace for ever.

【答】：在他的岁月中，正义必要兴盛，到处国泰民安。

 

The mountains shall yield peace for the people, and the hills justice. He shall defend the afflicted among the people, save the children of the poor.

领：愿高山给人民带来和平；愿丘岭为百姓送来公正！他必卫护百姓中的穷人，救助穷苦人的子孙。

 

R. Justice shall flourish in his time, and fullness of peace for ever.

【答】：在他的岁月中，正义必要兴盛，到处国泰民安。

 

Justice shall flower in his days, and profound peace, till the moon be no more. May he rule from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

领：在他的岁月中，正义必要兴盛，到处国泰民安，直至月亮失明。他将统治大地，从这海到那海，由大河的流域，至地极的边界。

 

R. Justice shall flourish in his time, and fullness of peace for ever.

【答】：在他的岁月中，正义必要兴盛，到处国泰民安。

 

May his name be blessed forever; as long as the sun his name shall remain. In him shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed; all the nations shall proclaim his happiness.

领：他的名号常存，永受赞扬，他的名号永留，与日争光。万邦要因他而得福，万民要称他为有福。

福音（达味之子，耶稣基督，是亚巴郎的后裔。）

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham became the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers.

亚巴郎之子，达味之子耶稣基督的族谱：亚巴郎生依撒格，依撒格生雅各伯，雅各伯生犹大和他的弟兄们；

 

Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar. Perez became the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram, Ram the father of Amminadab.

犹大由塔玛尔生培勒兹和则辣黑，培勒兹生赫兹龙，赫兹龙生阿兰，阿兰生阿米纳达布，

 

Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon, Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab.

阿米纳达布生纳赫雄，纳赫雄生撒耳孟，撒耳孟由辣哈布生波阿次，

 

Boaz became the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse, Jesse the father of David the king.

波阿次由卢德生敖贝得，敖贝得生叶瑟，叶瑟生达味王。

 

David became the father of Solomon, whose mother had been the wife of Uriah. Solomon became the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asaph.

达味由乌黎雅的妻子生撒罗满，撒罗满生勒哈贝罕，勒哈贝罕生阿彼雅，阿彼雅生阿撒，

 

Asaph became the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, Joram the father of Uzziah.

阿撒生约沙法特，约沙法特生约兰，约兰生乌齐雅，

 

Uzziah became the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, Ahaz the father of Hezekiah. Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh,

乌齐雅生约堂，约堂生阿哈次，阿哈次生希则克雅，希则克雅生默纳舍，

 

Manasseh the father of Amos, Amos the father of Josiah. Josiah became the father of Jechoniah and his brothers at the time of the Babylonian exile.

默纳舍生阿孟，阿孟生约史雅，约史雅在巴比伦流徙期间生耶苛尼雅和他的弟兄们，

 

After the Babylonian exile, Jechoniah became the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel, Zerubbabel the father of Abiud.

流徙巴比伦以后，耶苛尼雅生沙耳提耳，沙耳提耳生则鲁巴贝耳，则鲁巴贝耳生阿彼乌得，

 

Abiud became the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor, Azor the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Achim, Achim the father of Eliud, Eliud the father of Eleazar.

阿彼乌得生厄里雅金，厄利雅金生阿左尔，阿左尔生匝多克，匝多克生阿歆，阿歆生厄里乌得，厄里乌得生厄肋阿匝尔，

 

Eleazar became the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Of her was born Jesus who is called the Christ.

厄肋阿匝尔生玛堂，玛堂生雅各伯，雅各伯生若瑟，玛利亚的丈夫；玛利亚生耶稣，他称为基督。

 

Thus the total number of generations from Abraham to David is fourteen generations; from David to the Babylonian exile, fourteen generations; from the Babylonian exile to the Christ, fourteen generations.

所以从亚巴郎到达味共十四代，从达味到流徙巴比伦共十四代，从流徙巴比伦到基督共十四代。
