First Reading: Zep 3:14-18a

读经一（上主要因你而欢跃喜乐。）

恭读索福尼亚先知书 3:14-18

 

Shout for joy, O daughter Zion! Sing joyfully, O Israel! Be glad and exult with all your heart, O daughter Jerusalem!

熙雍女子，你应欢乐！以色列，你应欢呼！耶路撒冷女子，你应满心高兴喜乐！

 

The LORD has removed the judgment against you he has turned away your enemies; the King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst, you have no further misfortune to fear.

上主已撤销了对你的定案，扫除了你的仇敌。以色列的君王 ── 上主，在你中间，你再不会遇见灾祸！

 

On that day, it shall be said to Jerusalem: Fear not, O Zion, be not discouraged! The LORD, your God, is in your midst, a mighty savior;

在那一天，人必对耶路撒冷说：“熙雍，你不用害怕，不要双手低垂！上主你的天主，在你中间；他是一位施救的勇士。

 

he will rejoice over you with gladness, and renew you in his love, he will sing joyfully because of you, as one sings at festivals.

他必为你喜不自胜；对你重温他的爱情；且因你而欢跃喜乐，有如在庆节之日。”我必消灭打击你的人，使你不再受羞辱。

R. Cry out with joy and gladness: for among you is the great and Holy One of Israel.

【答】：你们应欢呼高唱，因为以色列的圣者，在你们中间，是伟大的。

 

God indeed is my savior; I am confident and unafraid. My strength and my courage is the LORD, and he has been my savior. With joy you will draw water at the fountain of salvation.

领：天主是我的救援；我依靠他，决不畏惧，因为上主是我的力量，是我的歌颂；他确是我的救援。你们要愉快地从救援的泉源里汲水。

 

R. Cry out with joy and gladness: for among you is the great and Holy One of Israel.

【答】：你们应欢呼高唱，因为以色列的圣者，在你们中间，是伟大的。

 

Give thanks to the LORD, acclaim his name; among the nations make known his deeds, proclaim how exalted is his name.

领：你们应称颂上主，呼号他的名！将他的作为，宣告于万民，称述他崇高的名字。

 

R. Cry out with joy and gladness: for among you is the great and Holy One of Israel.

【答】：你们应欢呼高唱，因为以色列的圣者，在你们中间，是伟大的。

 

Sing praise to the LORD for his glorious achievement; let this be known throughout all the earth. Shout with exultation, O city of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel!

领：请歌颂上主，因为他行了显赫的事；这事应该遍传天下。熙雍的居民，你们应欢呼高唱，因为以色列的圣者，在你们中间，是伟大的。

 

R. Cry out with joy and gladness: for among you is the great and Holy One of Israel.

Second Reading : Phil 4:4-7

读经二（主快来了！）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致斐理伯人书 4:4-7

 

Brothers and sisters: Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near.

弟兄姊妹们：你们在主内应当常常喜乐；我再说：你们应当喜乐！你们的宽仁，应当叫众人知道：主快来了。

 

Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.

你们什么也不要挂虑，只在一切事上，以恳求和祈祷，怀着感谢之心，向天主呈上你们的请求；

 

Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

这样，天主那超乎各种意想的平安，必要在基督耶稣内，固守你们的心思念虑。

Gospel  Lk 3:10-18

福音（我们该做什么呢？）

恭读圣路加福音  3:10-18

 

The crowds asked John the Baptist, “What should we do?” He said to them in reply, “Whoever has two cloaks should share with the person who has none. And whoever has food should do likewise.”

那时候，群众问若翰说：“那么，我们该做什么呢？”若翰答复他们说：“有两件内衣的，要分给那没有的；有食物的，也应照样做。”

 

Even tax collectors came to be baptized and they said to him, “Teacher, what should we do?” He answered them, “Stop collecting more than what is prescribed.”

税吏也来受洗，并问若翰说：“师父，我们该做什么呢？”若翰向他们说：“除了规定给你们的，不要多收！”

 

Soldiers also asked him, “And what is it that we should do?” He told them, “Do not practice extortion, do not falsely accuse anyone, and be satisfied with your wages.”

军人也问若翰说：“我们该做什么呢？”若翰向他们说：“不要勒索人，也不要敲诈；对你们的粮饷，应当知足！”

 

Now the people were filled with expectation, and all were asking in their hearts whether John might be the Christ.

那时，百姓都在期待默西亚，为此，人人心中推想：或许若翰就是默西亚。

 

John answered them all, saying, “I am baptizing you with water, but one mightier than I is coming. I am not worthy to loosen the thongs of his sandals.

若翰便向众人说：“我固然以水洗你们，但是，比我强的那一位，要来；就是解他的鞋带，我也不配。

 

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”

他要以圣神和火洗你们。木𣔙已放在他手中，他要扬净自己的禾场，把麦粒收在仓内;至于糠秕，却要用不灭的火焚烧。”

 

Exhorting them in many other ways, he preached good news to the people.

他还讲了许多别的劝言，给百姓传报喜讯。
