First Reading:  Is 40:1-11

读经一（天主安慰他的百姓。）

恭读依撒意亚先知书  40:1-11

 

Comfort, give comfort to my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her service is at an end,

“你们安慰，安慰我的百姓吧！”你们的天主说你们应向耶路撒冷说宽心的话，并向她宣告：她的苦役已满期，

 

her guilt is expiated; Indeed, she has received from the hand of the LORD double for all her sins.

她的罪债已清偿，因为她为了自己的一切罪过，已由上主手中承受了双倍的惩罚。

 

A voice cries out: In the desert prepare the way of the LORD! Make straight in the wasteland a highway for our God!

有一个呼声喊说：“你们要在旷野中预备上主的道路，在荒原中为我们的天主修平一条大路！

 

Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill shall be made low; The rugged land shall be made a plain, the rough country, a broad valley.

一切深谷要填满，一切山陵要铲平，隆起的要削为平地，崎岖的要辟成坦途！

 

Then the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all people shall see it together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

上主的光荣要显示出来，凡有血肉的都会看见：这是上主亲口说的。”

 

A voice says, "Cry out!" I answer, "What shall I cry out?" "All flesh is grass, and all their glory like the flower of the field.

有个声音说：“呼喊吧！”我答说：“我呼喊什么？”“凡有血肉的都似草，他的美丽似田野的花：

 

The grass withers, the flower wilts, when the breath of the LORD blows upon it.

上主的风吹来，草必枯萎，花必凋谢。

 

So then, the people is the grass. Though the grass withers and the flower wilts, the word of our God stands forever."

的确，人民好像草。草能枯萎，花能凋谢，但我们天主的话永远常存。”

 

Go up onto a high mountain, Zion, herald of glad tidings; Cry out at the top of your voice, Jerusalem, herald of good news!

给熙雍传喜讯的啊！请登上高山！给耶路撒冷报喜讯的啊！

 

Fear not to cry out and say to the cities of Judah: Here is your God!

请大声疾呼！高呼吧！不要畏惧！向犹大各城报告说：你们的天主来了！

 

Here comes with power the Lord GOD, who rules by his strong arm; Here is his reward with him, his recompense before him.

我主上主带着威能来到，他的手臂获得了胜利；他的胜利品与他同在，他获得的酬劳在他面前。

 

Like a shepherd he feeds his flock; in his arms he gathers the lambs, Carrying them in his bosom, and leading the ewes with care.

他必如牧人，牧放自己的羊群，以自己的手臂集合小羊，把牠们抱在自己的怀中，温良地领导哺乳的母羊。

Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all you lands. Sing to the LORD; bless his name; announce his salvation, day after day.

领：请众齐向上主歌唱新歌，普世大地，请向上主讴歌！请向上主歌唱，赞美他的圣名，一日复一日地，宣扬他的救恩。

 

R.  The Lord our God comes with power.

【答】：上主带着威能来到。

 

Tell his glory among the nations; among all peoples, his wondrous deeds. Say among the nations: The LORD is king; he governs the peoples with equity.

领：请在列邦中，传述他的光荣，请在万民中，宣扬他的奇功。请在万民中高呼：上主为王！他以正义公道来治理万邦。

 

R.  The Lord our God comes with power.

【答】：上主带着威能来到。

 

Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea and what fills it resound; let the plains be joyful and all that is in them! Then let all the trees of the forest rejoice.

领：愿诸天欢乐，愿大地踊跃，愿海及其中的一切怒号！原野及其中的一切都要舞蹈！森林中的一切树木各显欢乐。

 

R.  The Lord our God comes with power.

【答】：上主带着威能来到。

 

They shall exult before the LORD, for he comes; for he comes to rule the earth. He shall rule the world with justice and the peoples with his constancy.

领：在上主面前欢乐，因为他已驾临，因为他已驾临，要统治大地乾坤；他要以正义审判普世人群，以他的忠信治理天下万民。

Gospel  Mt 18:12-14

福音（天主不愿小孩子们丧亡。）

恭读圣玛窦福音  18: 12-14

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "What is your opinion? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray,

那时候，耶稣对他的门徒说：“你们以为如何？如果一个人有一百只羊，其中一只迷失了路，

 

will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills and go in search of the stray?

他岂不把那九十九只羊留在山上，而去寻找那只迷失了路的吗？

 

And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not stray.

如果他幸运找著了，我实在告诉你们：他为这一只，比为那九十九只没有迷路的，更觉欢喜；

 

In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father that one of these little ones be lost."

同样，使这些小子中的一个丧亡，决不是你们在天之父的意愿。”
