Second Sunday of Advent

First Reading: Bar 5:1-9

读经一（耶路撒冷！天主要向天下万邦，显示你的荣耀。）

恭读巴路克先知书  5:1-9

 

Jerusalem, take off your robe of mourning and misery; put on the splendor of glory from God forever:

耶路撒冷！请你脱去守丧时悲伤的衣服，永远穿上天主光荣的华服，

 

wrapped in the cloak of justice from God, bear on your head the mitre that displays the glory of the eternal name.

披上天主正义的披肩；在你头上，戴上永生者光荣的冠冕；

 

For God will show all the earth your splendor: you will be named by God forever the peace of justice, the glory of God's worship.

因为天主要对天下万邦，显示你的荣耀；给你起名，永远叫 “正义的和平”，和 “虔敬的光荣”。

 

Up, Jerusalem! stand upon the heights; look to the east and see your children gathered from the east and the west at the word of the Holy One, rejoicing that they are remembered by God.

耶路撒冷！请你起来，站在高处，向东远眺。看，你的子女奉圣者的命，由西方至东方集合；他们喜形于色，因为天主终于想起了他们。

 

Led away on foot by their enemies they left you: but God will bring them back to you borne aloft in glory as on royal thrones.

他们曾离你远去，由仇人押送步行；如今，天主却把他们给你再领回来；他们体面光荣，好像皇子一样，被人抬着归来；

 

For God has commanded that every lofty mountain be made low, and that the age-old depths and gorges be filled to level ground, that Israel may advance secure in the glory of God.

因为天主已命令，夷平一切高山和无尽的丘陵，填平所有山谷，使它们化为平地，好让以色列在天主的光荣下，平安前行。

 

The forests and every fragrant kind of tree have overshadowed Israel at God’s command; for God is leading Israel in joy by the light of his glory, with his mercy and justice for company.

森林和一切香树，要依照天主的命令，给以色列遮荫；因为天主要在喜乐中，以他固有的仁慈和正义，在自己荣耀的光辉下，亲自领回以色列。

【答】：上主向我们行了伟大的奇蹟，我们的确满心欢喜。

 

When the LORD brought back the captives of Zion, we were like men dreaming. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with rejoicing.

领：上主带领俘虏回到熙雍，我们觉得仿佛是在梦中；那时，我们笑口盈盈，引吭高歌。

 

R. The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

【答】：上主向我们行了伟大的奇蹟，我们的确满心欢喜。

 

Then they said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them." The LORD has done great things for us; we are glad indeed.

领：那时，外邦异民都赞叹不已：上主向他们行了何等奇事！上主向我们行了伟大的奇蹟，我们的确满心欢喜。

 

R. The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

【答】：上主向我们行了伟大的奇蹟，我们的确满心欢喜。

 

Restore our fortunes, O LORD, like the torrents in the southern desert. Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.

领：上主，求你转变我们的命运！就像乃革布有流水的灌溉。那含泪播种的人，必含笑获享收成。

 

R. The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

【答】：上主向我们行了伟大的奇蹟，我们的确满心欢喜。

 

Although they go forth weeping, carrying the seed to be sown, They shall come back rejoicing, carrying their sheaves.

领：他们边行边哭，出去播种耕耘；他们载欣载奔，回来背着禾捆。

 

R. The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

【答】：上主向我们行了伟大的奇蹟，我们的确满心欢喜。

 

Second Reading : Phil 1:4-6, 8-11

读经二（为叫你们直到基督的日子，常是洁净无瑕的。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致斐理伯人书 1:4-6,8-11

 

Brothers and sisters: I pray always with joy in my every prayer for all of you, because of your partnership for the gospel from the first day until now.

弟兄姊妹们：我每次祈祷，总是愉快地为你们各位祈祷，因为你们从最初的一天，直到现在，就协助了宣传福音的工作；

 

I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.

我深信，在你们内开始这美好工作的那位，必予以完成，直到耶稣基督的日子。

 

God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

天主为我作证：我是怎样以基督耶稣的情怀，爱你们众人。

 

And this is my prayer: that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value,

我所祈求的是：愿你们的爱德日渐增长，充满真知识和各种见识，使你们能辨别卓绝之事，

 

so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.

为叫你们直到基督的日子，常是洁净无瑕的，赖耶稣基督，满结义德的果实，为光荣赞美天主。

In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, and Herod was tetrarch of Galilee,

凯撒提庇留执政第十五年，般雀比拉多作犹太总督，黑落德作加里肋亚分封侯，

 

and his brother Philip tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias was tetrarch of Abilene,

他的兄弟斐理伯作依突勒雅和特辣曷尼地方的分封侯，吕撒尼雅作阿彼肋乃分封侯，

 

during the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John the son of Zechariah in the desert.

亚纳斯和盖法作大司祭时，在荒野中有天主的话，传给匝加利亚的儿子若翰。

 

John went throughout the whole region of the Jordan, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins,

若翰于是走遍约但河一带地方，宣讲悔改的洗礼，为得罪之赦。

 

as it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah: A voice of one crying out in the desert: “Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths.

正如先知依撒意亚预言书上记载的：“在荒野中有呼号者的声音：你们当预备上主的道路，修直他的途径！

 

Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill shall be made low.

一切深谷要填满，一切山岳丘陵要铲平，

 

The winding roads shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth, and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.”

弯曲的要修直，崎岖的要辟成坦途！凡有血肉的，都要看见天主的救援。”
