I, John, heard a voice from heaven speak to me. Then the voice spoke to me and said: "Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land."

我、若望，听见那从天上来的声音，又对我说：“你去，从那踏着海和踏着地的天使手中，取过那卷展开的小书来！”

 

So I went up to the angel and told him to give me the small scroll. He said to me, "Take and swallow it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will taste as sweet as honey."

我便往那位天使跟前去，请他给我那卷小书。他就对我说：“你拿去吞下它吧！它必使你肚子发苦，但在你的嘴里却甘甜如蜜。”

 

I took the small scroll from the angel's hand and swallowed it. In my mouth it was like sweet honey, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.

我就从天使手中接过那卷小书来，吞下它，果然它在我嘴里甘甜如蜜；但我一吃下去，我的肚子就苦起来了。

 

Then someone said to me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings."

随后有声音对我说：“关于各民族、各邦国、各语言的人民和各君王，你应再讲预言。”

Yes, your decrees are my delight; they are my counselors.

The law of your mouth is to me more precious than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

领：你口中的法律对我的益处，连千万的金银也不能相比。

How sweet to my palate are your promises, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

领：你的教训是多么甘美！在我的口中比蜂蜜更要甘美！

Your decrees are my inheritance forever; the joy of my heart they are.

领：你的诫命永远是我的家产，因为这是我心中的喜悦。

I gasp with open mouth in my yearning for your commands.

Gospel  Lk 19:45-48

福音（你们竟把上主的殿宇做了贼窝！）

恭读圣路加福音 19:45-48

 

Jesus entered the temple area and proceeded to drive out those who were selling things, saying to them, “It is written, My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.”

那时候，耶稣进了圣殿的庭院，开始把做买卖的人赶出去，对他们说：“经上记载：我的殿宇应是祈祷之所，而你们竟把它做了贼窝。”

 

And every day he was teaching in the temple area. The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people, meanwhile, were seeking to put him to death,

耶稣每天在圣殿里施教。司祭长及经师并人民的首领，设法要除掉他。

 

but they could find no way to accomplish their purpose because all the people were hanging on his words.

但是寻不出什么办法，因为众百姓都倾心听他。
