The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show his servants what must happen soon. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

耶稣基督的启示，是天主赐给他，叫他把那些必须快要发生的事，指示给自己的仆人；他遂打发天使，告诉自己的仆人若望；

 

who gives witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ by reporting what he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud and blessed are those who listen to this prophetic message and heed what is written in it, for the appointed time is near.

若望便为天主的话和为耶稣基督作了见证，即对他所见到的一切作了证。那诵读和那些听了这预言，而又遵行书中所记载的，是有福的！因为时期已临近了。

 

John, to the seven churches in Asia: grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne. I heard the Lord saying to me: "To the angel of the Church in Ephesus, write this:

若望致书给亚细亚的七个教会：愿恩宠与平安由那今在、昔在及将来永在者，由在他宝座前的七神，赐给你们。我听到上主对我说：“你给厄弗所教会的天使写：‘

 

"'The one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks in the midst of the seven gold lampstands says this: "I know your works, your labor, and your endurance,

那右手握著七颗星，而在那七盏金灯台当中行走的这样说：我知道你的作为、你的劳苦和你的坚忍；

 

and that you cannot tolerate the wicked; you have tested those who call themselves Apostles but are not, and discovered that they are impostors.

也知道你不能容忍恶人，并且你也曾查验出那些自称为宗徒而实非宗徒的人，发现他们是撒谎的人；

 

Moreover, you have endurance and have suffered for my name, and you have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: you have lost the love you had at first.

也知道你有坚忍，为了我的名字受了苦，而毫不厌倦。可是，我有一件事要反对你，就是你抛弃了你起初的爱德，

 

Realize how far you have fallen. Repent, and do the works you did at first. Otherwise, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent."'"

所以你该回想你是从那里跌下的，你该悔改，行先前所行的事。’”

Blessed the man who follows not the counsel of the wicked Nor walks in the way of sinners, nor sits in the company of the insolent, But delights in the law of the LORD and meditates on his law day and night.

领：凡不随从恶人的计谋，不插足于罪人的道路，不参与讥讽者的席位，而专心爱好上主法律和昼夜默思上主诫命的人，是有福的！

 

R.  Those who are victorious I will feed from the tree of life.

【答】：凡胜利的，我要把生命树的果实赐给他吃。

 

He is like a tree planted near running water, That yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves never fade. Whatever he does, prospers.

领：他像种植在溪畔的树，准时结果，枝叶不枯，所作所为，随心所欲。

 

R.  Those who are victorious I will feed from the tree of life.

【答】：凡胜利的，我要把生命树的果实赐给他吃。

 

Not so the wicked, not so; they are like chaff which the wind drives away. For the LORD watches over the way of the just, but the way of the wicked vanishes.

领：恶人却不如此，绝不如此！他们像被风吹散的糠秕。因上主赏识义人的行径，恶人的行径必自趋沉沦。

Gospel  Lk 18:35-43

福音（“你愿意我为你作什么？”“主，叫我看见！”）

恭读圣路加福音 18:35-43

 

As Jesus approached Jericho a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging, and hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what was happening. They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by."

耶稣将近耶里哥时，有一个瞎子坐在路旁讨饭，听见群众路过，便查问是什么事。有人告诉他：是纳匝肋人耶稣经过。

 

He shouted, "Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!" The people walking in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent, but he kept calling out all the more, "Son of David, have pity on me!"

他便喊叫说：“耶稣，达味之子，可怜我吧！”在前面走的人就斥责他，叫他不要出声；但他越发喊叫说：“达味之子，可怜我吧！”

 

Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" He replied, "Lord, please let me see."

耶稣站住，叫人把瞎子带到自己跟前来；当他来近时，耶稣问他说：“你愿意我给你做什么？”他说：“主，叫我看见。”

 

Jesus told him, "Have sight; your faith has saved you." He immediately received his sight and followed him, giving glory to God. When they saw this, all the people gave praise to God.

耶稣对他说：“你看见吧！你的信德救了你。”他立刻看见了，遂跟随着耶稣，光荣天主。所有百姓见了，也都颂扬天主。
