First Reading: JAS 1:12-18

读经一（天主不会诱惑人。）

恭读雅各伯书 1:12-18

 

Blessed is he who perseveres in temptation, for when he has been proven he will receive the crown of life that he promised to those who love him.

忍受试探的人是有福的，因为他既经得起考验，必能得到主向爱他的人，所预许的生命之冠。

 

No one experiencing temptation should say, "I am being tempted by God"; for God is not subject to temptation to evil, and he himself tempts no one.

人受诱惑，不可说：“我为天主所诱惑”，因为天主不会为恶事所诱惑，他也不诱惑人。

 

Rather, each person is tempted when lured and enticed by his desire. Then desire conceives and brings forth sin, and when sin reaches maturity it gives birth to death.

每个人受诱惑，都是为自己的私欲所勾引，所饵诱；然后，私欲怀孕，便产生罪恶；罪恶完成之后，遂生出死亡来。

 

Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers and sisters: all good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no alteration or shadow caused by change.

我亲爱的弟兄们，你们切不要错误！一切美好的赠与，一切完善的恩赐，都是从上，从光明之父降下来的，在他内没有变化或转动的阴影。

 

He willed to give us birth by the word of truth that we may be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

他自愿用真理之言生了我们，为使我们成为他所造之物中的初果。

【答】：上主，那些受你教训的人，真是有福。

 

Blessed the man whom you instruct, O LORD, whom by your law you teach, Giving him rest from evil days.

领：上主，那些受你教训的人，守你法律者是有福的人，你叫他在患难时获享安稳。

 

R. Blessed the man you instruct, O Lord.

【答】：上主，那些受你教训的人，真是有福。

 

For the LORD will not cast off his people, nor abandon his inheritance; But judgment shall again be with justice, and all the upright of heart shall follow it.

领：上主不拒绝自己的百姓，上主不遗弃自己的人民。原来公理必归正义的人士，心地正直的人，必追求公理。

 

R. Blessed the man you instruct, O Lord.

【答】：上主，那些受你教训的人，真是有福。

 

When I say, "My foot is slipping," your mercy, O LORD, sustains me; When cares abound within me, your comfort gladdens my soul.

领：我正在想说：我的脚步快要滑倒。上主，你就以你的仁爱来扶助我。忧愁焦思虽然齐集我心神，你的安慰却舒畅了我的灵魂。

【答】：上主，那些受你教训的人，真是有福。

 

Gospel MK 8:14-21

福音（你们应当提防法利塞人和黑落德的酵母。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 8:14-21

 

The disciples had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat.

那时候，门徒忘了带饼，在船上除了一个饼外，随身没有带别的食物。

 

Jesus enjoined them, "Watch out, guard against the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod."

耶稣嘱咐他们说：“你们应当谨慎，提防法利塞人的酵母和黑落德的酵母。”

 

They concluded among themselves that it was because they had no bread.

他们彼此议论：他们没有饼了。

 

When he became aware of this he said to them, "Why do you conclude that it is because you have no bread?

耶稣看出来了，就对他们说：“为什么你们议论没有饼了？

 

Do you not yet understand or comprehend? Are your hearts hardened? Do you have eyes and not see, ears and not hear?

你们还不明白，还不了解吗？你们的心仍然迟钝吗？你们有眼看不见，有耳听不见吗？

 

And do you not remember, when I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many wicker baskets full of fragments you picked up?"

你们不记得：当我曾擘开五个饼给五千人的时候，你们收满了几筐碎块？”

 

They answered him, "Twelve." "When I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many full baskets of fragments did you pick up?"

他们回答说：“十二筐。”“还有，七个饼给四千人的时候，你们收满了几篮碎块？”他们回答说：“七篮。”

 

They answered him, "Seven." He said to them, "Do you still not understand?"

于是耶稣对他们说：“你们还不了解吗？”
