读经一（舍巴女王看见了撒罗满的种种智慧。）

恭读列王纪上 10:1-10

 

The queen of Sheba, having heard of Solomon's fame, came to test him with subtle questions.

那时候，舍巴女王听说撒罗满因上主之名获得的声望，即前来以难题考问撒罗满。

 

She arrived in Jerusalem with a very numerous retinue, and with camels bearing spices, a large amount of gold, and precious stones.

她带了许多随员，骆驼装载大批的香料、黄金和宝石，来到了耶路撒冷；

 

She came to Solomon and questioned him on every subject in which she was interested.

当她进见撒罗满时，就向他提出了心中的一切疑难，

 

King Solomon explained everything she asked about, and there remained nothing hidden from him that he could not explain to her.

撒罗满对她所问的一切难题，一一给她解答了，没有一样可难住君王，而不能给她解答的。

 

When the queen of Sheba witnessed Solomon's great wisdom, the palace he had built, the food at his table, the seating of his ministers,

舍巴女王看见了撒罗满的种种智慧和建造的宫殿，筵席上的肴馔，群臣的坐次，

 

the attendance and garb of his waiters, his banquet service, and the burnt offerings he offered in the temple of the LORD, she was breathless.

仆从的侍候和服装，供应的饮料，以及他在上主殿内奉献的全燔祭，惊讶得出神，

 

"The report I heard in my country about your deeds and your wisdom is true," she told the king.

因而对君王说：“关于你的言行和智慧，我在我国内所听到的传说，的确是真的！

 

"Though I did not believe the report until I came and saw with my own eyes, I have discovered that they were not telling me the half. Your wisdom and prosperity surpass the report I heard.

以前我原不相信这些传闻，及至我来亲眼见了，才知道人告诉我的还不及一半；你的智慧和你的富贵远超过我所听闻的。

 

Blessed are your men, blessed these servants of yours, who stand before you always and listen to your wisdom.

你的妻妾，你的臣仆，能常常侍立在你面前，聆听你的智慧，是多么有福！

 

Blessed be the LORD, your God, whom it has pleased to place you on the throne of Israel. In his enduring love for Israel, the LORD has made you king to carry out judgment and justice."

上主你的天主应受赞美！他喜爱你，使你坐了以色列的王位；上主因为永远喜爱以色列，才立你为王，秉公行义。”

 

Then she gave the king one hundred and twenty gold talents, a very large quantity of spices, and precious stones.

舍巴女王遂将一百二十“塔冷通”黄金，大批香料和宝石，赠送给君王；

 

Never again did anyone bring such an abundance of spices as the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

以后进入的香料，再没有像舍巴女王送给撒罗满的那样多。

R. The mouth of the just murmurs wisdom.

【答】：义人的口倾吐智慧。

 

Commit to the LORD your way; trust in him, and he will act. He will make justice dawn for you like the light; bright as the noonday shall be your vindication.

领：将你的行径委托于上主，寄望于他，他必使之成就。他必使你的义德如光出现，他必使你的仁义如日中天。

 

R. The mouth of the just murmurs wisdom.

【答】：义人的口倾吐智慧。

 

The mouth of the just man tells of wisdom and his tongue utters what is right. The law of his God is in his heart, and his steps do not falter.

领：义人的口倾吐智慧，他的舌头讲论公义。天主的法律在他心田，他的脚步必坚定不偏。

 

R. The mouth of the just murmurs wisdom.

【答】：义人的口倾吐智慧。

 

The salvation of the just is from the LORD; he is their refuge in time of distress. And the LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

领：义人的救护是来自上主，他是他们困厄时的护守；上主必扶持助佑，解救他们脱离恶人，上主必予以挽救，因他们曾向他投奔。

 

R. The mouth of the just murmurs wisdom.

【答】：义人的口倾吐智慧。

 

Gospel MK 7:14-23

福音（从人里面出来的，才污秽人。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 7:14-23

 

Jesus summoned the crowd again and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand.

那时候，耶稣叫群众来，对他们说：“你们都要听我，且要明白！

 

Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile."

不是从人外面进入他内的，能污秽人，而是从人里面出来的，才污秽人。

 

When he got home away from the crowd his disciples questioned him about the parable.

凡有耳听的，听吧！”耶稣离开群众，回到家里，他的门徒便问他这比喻的意义。

 

He said to them, "Are even you likewise without understanding? Do you not realize that everything that goes into a person from outside cannot defile,

耶稣就给他们说：“怎么，连你们也不明白吗？你们不晓得：凡从外面进入人内的，不能使人污秽，

 

since it enters not the heart but the stomach and passes out into the latrine?" (Thus he declared all foods clean.)

因为进不到他的心，但到他的肚腹内，再排泄到厕所里去吗？”他这是说一切食物都是洁净的。

 

"But what comes out of the man, that is what defiles him. From within the man, from his heart, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder,

耶稣又说：“凡从人里面出来的，那才使人污秽，因为从里面，从人心里出来的是些恶念、邪淫、盗窃、凶杀、

 

adultery, greed, malice, deceit, licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly. All these evils come from within and they defile.”

奸淫、贪吝、毒辣、诡诈、放荡、嫉妒、毁谤、骄傲、愚妄：这一切的恶事，都是从内里出来的，并且使人污秽。”
