First Reading: 1 KGS 8:22-23, 27-30

读经一（上主，你说：“我的名要永留在此。”愿你垂听你百姓以色列的哀祷。）

恭读列王纪上 8:22-23,27-30

 

Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of the whole community of Israel, and stretching forth his hands toward heaven,

那时候，撒罗满当着以色列全会众，立在上主的祭坛前，举手向天，

 

he said, "LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below; you keep your covenant of mercy with your servants who are faithful to you with their whole heart.

说：“上主，以色列的天主！上天下地没有一个神能与你相比。你对那全心在你面前行走的仆人，常是守约表示慈爱。

 

Can it indeed be that God dwells on earth? If the heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain you, how much less this temple which I have built!

但是天主实在住在地上吗？看，天和天上的天尚且容不下你，何况我所建造的这座殿宇呢？

 

Look kindly on the prayer and petition of your servant, O LORD, my God, and listen to the cry of supplication which I, your servant, utter before you this day.

上主，我的天主，请垂允你仆人的祈祷和恳求，俯听你仆人今天在你面前所发的呼号和祈祷！

 

May your eyes watch night and day over this temple, the place where you have decreed you shall be honored; may you heed the prayer which I, your servant, offer in this place.

愿你的眼睛昼夜垂视这座殿宇，看顾你所说“我的名要永留在此”的地方！愿你垂听你仆人向这地方要行的祈祷！

 

Listen to the petitions of your servant and of your people Israel which they offer in this place. Listen from your heavenly dwelling and grant pardon."

愿你垂听你仆人和百姓以色列向这地方所发的哀祷！愿你在天上，从你的居所予以垂听！请垂听与宽恕！”

My soul yearns and pines for the courts of the LORD. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

领：我的灵魂对上主的宫庭渴慕及缅怀。我的心灵以及我的肉身，向生活的天主踊跃欢欣。

 

R. How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord, mighty God!

【答】：万军的上主，你的居所是多么可爱！

 

Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest in which she puts her young—Your altars, O LORD of hosts, my king and my God!

领：万军的上主，我的君王，我的天主，麻雀靠近你的祭坛找到了住所，燕子也找到了安置幼雏的窝巢。

 

R. How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord, mighty God!

【答】：万军的上主，你的居所是多么可爱！

 

Blessed they who dwell in your house! continually they praise you. O God, behold our shield, and look upon the face of your anointed.

领：上主，居住在你的殿宇，常赞美你的，真是有福！天主，我们的护盾，求你目睹，请对你的受傅者予以回顾。

 

R. How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord, mighty God!

【答】：万军的上主，你的居所是多么可爱！

 

I had rather one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I had rather lie at the threshold of the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

领：的确，在你的宫庭逗留一日，远胜过在别处逗留千日。我宁愿站在我天主殿宇的门限，我不愿逗留在恶人帐幔的里面。

【答】：万军的上主，你的居所是多么可爱！

 

Gospel MK 7:1-13

福音（你们离弃天主的诫命，只守人的传统。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 7:1-13

 

When the Pharisees with some scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus,

那时候，法利塞人和一些从耶路撒冷来的经师，聚集到耶稣跟前。

 

they observed that some of his disciples ate their meals with unclean, that is, unwashed, hands.

他们曾看见他的几个门徒用不洁的手，就是用没有洗过的手吃饭

 

(For the Pharisees and, in fact, all Jews, do not eat without carefully washing their hands, keeping the tradition of the elders.

 ── 原来，法利塞人和所有的犹太人，都拘守先人的传授：若不仔细洗手，就不吃饭；

 

And on coming from the marketplace they do not eat without purifying themselves.

从街市上回来，若不先沐浴，也不吃饭；

 

And there are many other things that they have traditionally observed, the purification of cups and jugs and kettles and beds.)

还有其他许多传授应拘守的事：如洗杯、洗壶、洗铜器等 ──

 

So the Pharisees and scribes questioned him, "Why do your disciples not follow the tradition of the elders but instead eat a meal with unclean hands?"

法利塞人和经师们就问耶稣说：“你的门徒为什么不遵守先人的传授，而用不洁的手吃饭？”

 

He responded, "Well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written:

耶稣对他们说：“依撒意亚论你们这些假善人预言的真好，正如所记载的：

 

This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines human precepts.

这民族用嘴唇尊敬我，他们的心却远离我。他们恭敬我，也是虚假的，因为他们所讲授的教义，是人的规律。

 

You disregard God's commandment but cling to human tradition."

你们离弃天主的诫命，而只拘守人的传授。”

 

He went on to say, "How well you have set aside the commandment of God in order to uphold your tradition!

又向他们说：“真好啊！你们为拘守你们的传授，竟废除了天主的诫命。

 

For Moses said, Honor your father and your mother, and Whoever curses father or mother shall die.

梅瑟原说过：‘你该孝敬你的父亲及母亲。’又说：‘咒骂了父亲或母亲的，应处以死刑。’

 

Yet you say, 'If someone says to father or mother, "Any support you might have had from me is qorban"' (meaning, dedicated to God), you allow him to do nothing more for his father or mother.

你们却说，人若对父亲或母亲说：我所能供养你的，已成了‘科尔班’，即‘献仪’，那么就准许那人不必再为父母做什么了：

 

You nullify the word of God in favor of your tradition that you have handed on. And you do many such things."

这样你们便为了你们所传授的遗教，废弃了天主的话；并且你们还行了许多其他诸如此类的事。”
