That night the LORD spoke to Nathan and said: “Go, tell my servant David, 'Thus says the LORD: Should you build me a house to dwell in?

那时候，上主的话传于纳堂说：“你去告诉我的仆人达味，上主这样说：你要建筑一座殿宇给我居住吗？

 

I have not dwelt in a house from the day on which I led the children of Israel out of Egypt to the present, but I have been going about in a tent under cloth.

我自从埃及领以色列子民上来那一天起，直到今日，从没有居住过殿宇，只随帐棚和会幕漂泊。

 

In all my wanderings everywhere among the children of Israel, did I ever utter a word to any one of the judges whom I charged to tend my people Israel, to ask: Why have you not built me a house of cedar?’

我与以色列子民同行时，我何尝向我立为牧养我民以色列的一个民长说过：你们为什么不为我建造一座香柏木的殿宇？

 

“Now then, speak thus to my servant David, ‘The LORD of hosts has this to say: It was I who took you from the pasture and from the care of the flock to be commander of my people Israel.

“现在，你要对我的仆人达味说：万军的上主这样说：是我拣选你离开牧场，离开放羊的事，作我民以色列的领袖。

 

I have been with you wherever you went, and I have destroyed all your enemies before you. And I will make you famous like the great ones of the earth.

你不论到那里去，我总是偕同你，由你面前消灭你的一切仇敌；我要使你成名，像世上出名的大人物；

 

I will fix a place for my people Israel; I will plant them so that they may dwell in their place without further disturbance.

我要把我民以色列安置在一个地方，栽培他们，在那里久住，再也不受惊恐，

 

Neither shall the wicked continue to afflict them as they did of old, since the time I first appointed judges over my people Israel. I will give you rest from all your enemies.

再也不像先前受恶人的欺压，有如自从我为我民以色列立了民长以来一样；我要赐他们安宁，不受仇敌的骚扰。

 

The LORD also reveals to you that he will establish a house for you.

上主也告诉你：他要为你创建家室。

 

And when your time comes and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your heir after you, sprung from your loins, and I will make his Kingdom firm.

当你的日子满期与你祖先长眠时，我必在你以后兴起一个后裔，即你所生的儿子；我必巩固他的王权。

 

It is he who shall build a house for my name. And I will make his royal throne firm forever. I will be a father to him, and he shall be a son to me.

是他要为我的名创建殿宇；我要巩固他的王位直到永远。我要作他的父亲，他要作我的儿子；

 

And if he does wrong, I will correct him with the rod of men and with human chastisements;

若是他犯了罪，我必用人用的鞭，世人用的棍，来惩戒他；

 

but I will not withdraw my favor from him as I withdrew it from your predecessor Saul, whom I removed from my presence.

但我决不由他收回我的恩情，就如在你以前由撒乌耳收回我的恩情一样。

 

Your house and your kingdom shall endure forever before me; your throne shall stand firm forever.’”

你的家室和王权，在我面前永远存在，你的王位也永远坚定不移。”（纳堂便照这一切话，将整个启示告诉了达味。）

I have made a covenant with my chosen one; I have sworn to David my servant: I will make your dynasty stand forever and establish your throne through all ages.

领：我同我拣选的人立了约契，向我的仆人达味起了盟誓，我直到永远巩固你的后裔，世世代代将你的宝座创建。

 

R. For ever I will maintain my love for my servant.

【答】：我同他永远保持我的慈爱。

 

He shall cry to me, ‘You are my father, my God, the Rock that brings me victory!’ I myself make him firstborn, Most High over the kings of the earth.

领：他要称赞我说：“你是我的大父，是我救恩的盘石，是我的天主。”我也要立定他为首生子，他高出世上所有的君主。

 

R. For ever I will maintain my love for my servant.

【答】：我同他永远保持我的慈爱。

 

Forever I will maintain my love for him; my covenant with him stands firm. I will establish his dynasty forever, his throne as the days of the heavens.

领：我同他永远保持我的慈爱，我同他立的约，永不得破坏，使他的后裔，永世不替，使他的宝位，与天日齐。

【答】：我同他永远保持我的慈爱。

 

Gospel MK 4:1-20

福音（有个撒种的出去撒种。）

On another occasion, Jesus began to teach by the sea. A very large crowd gathered around him

耶稣在海边上开始施教，有大伙群众聚集在他跟前。

 

so that he got into a boat on the sea and sat down. And the whole crowd was beside the sea on land.

他只得上了一只船，在海上坐着，所有的群众都在海边地上。他用比喻教训他们许多事。

 

And he taught them at length in parables, and in the course of his instruction he said to them, "Hear this! A sower went out to sow.

在施教时，他向他们说：“你们听：有个撒种的出去撒种。

 

And as he sowed, some seed fell on the path, and the birds came and ate it up.

他撒种的时候，有的落在路旁，飞鸟来把它吃了；

 

Other seed fell on rocky ground where it had little soil. It sprang up at once because the soil was not deep. And when the sun rose, it was scorched and it withered for lack of roots.

有的落在石头地里，那里没有多少土壤，即刻发了芽，因为所有的土壤不深，太阳一出来，被晒焦了；

 

Some seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it and it produced no grain.

又因为没有根，就干枯了；有的落在荆棘中，荆棘长起来，把它窒息了，就没有结实；

 

And some seed fell on rich soil and produced fruit. It came up and grew and yielded thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold."

有的落在好地里，就长大成熟，结了果实，有的结三十倍，有的六十倍，有的一百倍。”

 

He added, "Whoever has ears to hear ought to hear."

他又说：“有耳听的，听吧！”

 

And when he was alone, those present along with the Twelve questioned him about the parables.

当耶稣独自一人的时候，那些跟从他的人和十二门徒便问他这些比喻的意义。

 

He answered them, "The mystery of the Kingdom of God has been granted to you.

耶稣对他们说：“天主国的奥义只赏给了你们，

 

But to those outside everything comes in parables, so that they may look and see but not perceive,

但对那些外人，一切都用比喻，使他们看是看，却看不见；

 

and hear and listen but not understand, in order that they may not be converted and be forgiven."

听是听了，却听不明白，免得他们回头，而得赦免。”

 

Jesus said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand any of the parables?

耶稣对他们说：“你们不明白这个比喻，又怎能明白其他的一切比喻呢？

 

The sower sows the word.

那撒种的人撒的，是所讲的‘话’。

 

These are the ones on the path where the word is sown. As soon as they hear, Satan comes at once and takes away the word sown in them.

那撒在路旁的‘话’是指人听了后﹐撒殚立时来﹐把撒在他们心里的‘话’夺了去。

 

And these are the ones sown on rocky ground who, when they hear the word, receive it at once with joy. But they have no roots; they last only for a time.

同样﹐那撒在石头地里的，是指人听了这‘话’后，立刻欣然接受；但他们心里没有根，不能持久，

 

Then when tribulation or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

及至为了这‘话’发生艰难或迫害，立刻就跌倒了。

 

Those sown among thorns are another sort. They are the people who hear the word, but worldly anxiety, the lure of riches, and the craving for other things intrude and choke the word, and it bears no fruit.

还有那撒在荆棘中的，是指人听了这‘话’后，世俗的焦虑、财富的迷惑，以及其它的贪欲进来，把‘话’蒙住了，结不出果实。

 

But those sown on rich soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit thirty and sixty and a hundredfold."

那撒在好地里的，是指人听了这‘话’，就接受了，并结了果实，有的三十倍，有的六十倍，有的一百倍。”
