First Reading: IS 8:23—9:3

读经一（外方人的加里肋亚看见了一道皓光。）

恭读依撒意亚先知书　8:23-9:3

 

First the Lord degraded the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali; but in the end he has glorified the seaward road, the land west of the Jordan, the District of the Gentiles.

昔日，上主曾使则步隆和纳斐塔里地域，受了侮辱，但日后却使沿海之路，约但东岸，外方人的加里肋亚，获得了光荣。

 

Anguish has taken wing, dispelled is darkness: for there is no gloom where but now there was distress.

在黑暗中行走的百姓，看见了一道皓光；

 

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone.

那寄居于漆黑之地的人，已有光辉照射在他们身上。

 

You have brought them abundant joy and great rejoicing, as they rejoice before you as at the harvest, as people make merry when dividing spoils.

你加强了他们的快乐，增加了他们的喜悦；他们在你面前欢乐，有如人收割时的欢乐，又如分赃时的愉快；

 

For the yoke that burdened them, the pole on their shoulder, and the rod of their taskmaster you have smashed, as on the day of Midian.

因为，你折断了他们所负的重轭，和他们肩上的横木，以及压迫他们者的短棍，有如在米德杨那天一样。

【答】：上主是我的光明，我的救援。

 

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The LORD is my life's refuge; of whom should I be afraid?

领：上主是我的光明，我的救援，我还畏惧何人？上主是我生命稳固的保障，我还害怕何人？

 

R. The Lord is my light and my salvation.

【答】：上主是我的光明，我的救援。

 

One thing I ask of the LORD; this I seek: To dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, That I may gaze on the loveliness of the LORD and contemplate his temple.

领：我有一事祈求上主，我要恳切请求此事：使我一生的岁月，常居住在上主的殿里，欣赏上主的甘饴慈祥，瞻仰上主圣所的堂皇。

 

R. The Lord is my light and my salvation.

【答】：上主是我的光明，我的救援。

 

I believe that I shall see the bounty of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD with courage; be stouthearted, and wait for the LORD.

领：我深信在此活人地区，定会享见上主的幸福。你要鼓起勇气，期望上主！你要振作精神，期望上主！

 

R. The Lord is my light and my salvation.

【答】：上主是我的光明，我的救援。

 

Second Reading : 1 COR 1:10-13, 17

读经二（我们要言谈一致，不要有分裂。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致格林多人前书　1:10-13,17

 

I urge you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say,

弟兄姊妹们：我因我们的主耶稣基督之名，请求你们众人言谈一致；

 

and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and in the same purpose.

在你们中不要有分裂，但要同心合意，精诚团结。

 

For it has been reported to me about you, my brothers and sisters, by Chloe's people, that there are rivalries among you.

因为，我的弟兄们，我由黑罗厄的家人，听说你们中发生了纷争。

 

I mean that each of you is saying, "I belong to Paul," or "I belong to Apollos,"or "I belong to Cephas,"or "I belong to Christ."

我的意思是说，你们各自声称：我是属保禄的，我是属阿颇罗的，我是属刻法的，我是属基督的。

 

Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

基督被分裂了吗？难道保禄为你们被钉死在十字架上吗？或者你们受洗，是归于保禄名下吗？

 

For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with the wisdom of human eloquence, so that the cross of Christ might not be emptied of its meaning.

原来基督派遣我，不是为施洗，而是为宣传福音，且不用巧妙的言辞，免得基督的十字架失去效力。

Gospel MT 4:12-23

福音（为应验依撒意亚先知所说的话，耶稣来到了葛法翁。）

恭读圣玛窦福音　4:12-23

 

When Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew to Galilee.

耶稣听到若翰被监禁以后，就退避到加里肋亚；

 

He left Nazareth and went to live in Capernaum by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,

后来，又离开纳匝肋，住在海边的葛法翁，即住在则步隆和纳斐塔里境内。

 

that what had been said through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled: Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles,

这应验了依撒意亚先知所说的话：“则步隆与纳斐塔里地，通海大路，约但河东，外方人的加里肋亚，

 

the people who sit in darkness have seen a great light, on those dwelling in a land overshadowed by death light has arisen.

那坐在黑暗中的百姓，看见了皓光；那坐在死亡阴影之地的人，已有光明为他们升起。”

 

From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

从那时起，耶稣开始宣讲说：“你们悔改吧！因为天国临近了。”

 

As he was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen.

耶稣沿加里肋亚海行走时，看见了两个兄弟：称为伯多禄的西满，和他的兄弟安德肋，在海里撒网；他们原是渔夫。

 

He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed him.

耶稣就对他们说：“来，跟随我！我要使你们成为渔人的渔夫。”他们立刻舍下网，跟随了耶稣。

 

He walked along from there and saw two other brothers, James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John.

耶稣从那里再往前行，看见了另外两个兄弟：载伯德的儿子雅各伯和他的弟弟若望，

 

They were in a boat, with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. He called them, and immediately they left their boat and their father and followed him.

在船上，同他们的父亲载伯德，修理他们的网，就召叫了他们。他们也立刻舍下渔船，及自己的父亲，跟随了耶稣。

 

He went around all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness among the people.

耶稣走遍了全加里肋亚，在他们的会堂施教，宣讲天国的福音，治好民间各种疾病、各种灾殃。
