恭读撒慕尔纪上 15:16-23

 

Samuel said to Saul: "Stop! Let me tell you what the LORD said to me last night." Saul replied, "Speak!"

那时候，撒慕尔对撒乌耳说：“住口！让我告诉你，上主昨夜对我说过的话。”撒乌耳答说：“请说吧！”

 

Samuel then said: "Though little in your own esteem, are you not leader of the tribes of Israel? The LORD anointed you king of Israel and sent you on a mission,

撒慕尔说：“虽然你自以为是最微小的，你岂不是已成了以色列众支派的首领？上主不是曾给你傅油，立你作以色列的君王吗？上主派你去打仗，

 

saying, 'Go and put the sinful Amalekites under a ban of destruction. Fight against them until you have exterminated them.'

曾吩咐你说：去剿灭那些犯罪的阿玛肋克人，攻打他们，直至将他们完全消灭。

 

Why then have you disobeyed the LORD? You have pounced on the spoil, thus displeasing the LORD."

为什么你没有顺听上主的命令，只顾急忙抢掠财物，行了上主不喜欢的事？”

 

Saul answered Samuel: "I did indeed obey the LORD and fulfill the mission on which the LORD sent me. I have brought back Agag, and I have destroyed Amalek under the ban.

撒乌耳回答撒慕尔说：“我的确听从了上主的命令，走了上主指给我的路，擒获了阿玛肋克王阿加格，毁灭了阿玛肋克人。

 

But from the spoil the men took sheep and oxen, the best of what had been banned, to sacrifice to the LORD their God in Gilgal."

但是军民由当毁灭的胜利品中，选出了最好的牛羊，要在基耳加耳祭献上主，你的天主。”

 

But Samuel said: "Does the LORD so delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obedience to the command of the LORD?

撒慕尔回答说：“上主岂能喜欢全燔祭和牺牲，胜过听从上主的命令？

 

Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission than the fat of rams. For a sin like divination is rebellion, and presumption is the crime of idolatry.

听命胜于祭献，服从胜过绵羊的肥油脂。背命等于行卜，顽抗与敬拜偶像无异。

 

Because you have rejected the command of the LORD, he, too, has rejected you as ruler."

因为你拒绝了上主的命令，上主也拒绝了你作王。”

【答】：行为正直的人，我要使他享见天主的救恩。

 

Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you, for your burnt offerings are before me always. I take from your house no bullock, no goats out of your fold.

领：上主说：我并不因你的祭献而责备你，因为我面前常有你的全燔祭。我无须从你的家里将牛犊攫取，也无须由你的圈里把山羊捉捕。

 

R. To the upright I will show the saving power of God.

【答】：行为正直的人，我要使他享见天主的救恩。

 

Why do you recite my statutes, and profess my covenant with your mouth, Though you hate discipline and cast my words behind you?

领：你怎么胆敢传述我的诫命，你的口怎敢朗诵我的法令？你岂不是恼恨规矩，将我的话置诸脑后？

 

R. To the upright I will show the saving power of God.

【答】：行为正直的人，我要使他享见天主的救恩。

 

When you do these things, shall I be deaf to it? Or do you think that I am like yourself? I will correct you by drawing them up before your eyes. He that offers praise as a sacrifice glorifies me; and to him that goes the right way I will show the salvation of God.

领：你既作了这些，我岂能缄口不言？难道你竟以为我真能与你一般？我要责斥你，将一切放在你眼前。奉献颂谢祭的人，就是给我奉献光荣赞颂，行为正直的人，我要使他享见天主的救恩。

 

R. To the upright I will show the saving power of God.

【答】：行为正直的人，我要使他享见天主的救恩。

 

Gospel MK 2:18-22

福音（新郎还与伴郎在一起。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 2:18-22

 

The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were accustomed to fast.

当时，若翰的门徒和法利塞人正在禁食。

 

People came to Jesus and objected, "Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?"

有人来向耶稣说：“为什么若翰的门徒和法利塞人的门徒禁食，而你的门徒却不禁食呢？”

 

Jesus answered them,"Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.

耶稣对他们说：“伴郎岂能在新郎还与他们在一起的时候禁食？他们与新郎在一起的时候，决不能禁食。

 

But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast on that day.

但日子将要来到：当新郎从他们中被劫去时，在那一天，他们就要禁食了。

 

No one sews a piece of unshrunken cloth on an old cloak. If he does, its fullness pulls away, the new from the old, and the tear gets worse.

没有人将未漂过的布补在旧衣服上的；不然，补上的那块新布要扯裂了旧的，破绽就更加坏了。

 

Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins are ruined. Rather, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins."

也没有人把新酒装在旧皮囊里的；不然，酒涨破了皮囊，酒和皮囊都丧失了；而是新酒应装在新皮囊里。”
