First Reading: 1 Mc 2:15-29

读经一（我们照我们祖先的盟约去行事。）

恭读玛加伯书上　2:15-29

 

The officers of the king in charge of enforcing the apostasy came to the city of Modein to organize the sacrifices.

那时候，君王派来强迫人民背教的官吏，也来到了摩丁城，勒令人民祭神。

 

Many of Israel joined them, but Mattathias and his sons gathered in a group apart.

有些以色列人附和了，但玛塔提雅和他的儿子却一致反抗；

 

Then the officers of the king addressed Mattathias: "You are a leader, an honorable and great man in this city, supported by sons and kin.

君王的官吏对玛塔提雅说：“你是这城的首领，有面子又有势力，还受儿子和兄弟们的拥护。

 

Come now, be the first to obey the king's command, as all the Gentiles and the men of Judah and those who are left in Jerusalem have done.

如今，请你首先前来遵行君王的谕令，如同各国的人、犹太居民以及留在耶路撒冷的人所作的一般；

 

Then you and your sons shall be numbered among the King's Friends, and shall be enriched with silver and gold and many gifts."

这样，你和你的儿子就算是君王的朋友，你和你的儿子可以荣获金银和各种恩赐。”

 

But Mattathias answered in a loud voice: "Although all the Gentiles in the king's realm obey him, so that each forsakes the religion of his fathers and consents to the king's orders, yet I and my sons and my kin will keep to the covenant of our fathers.

玛塔提雅高声回答说：“即使所有在王国中的人民都听从他，背弃了自己祖先的宗教，服从君王的命令，我和我的儿子以及我的弟兄，仍然要遵守我们祖先的盟约，

 

God forbid that we should forsake the law and the commandments. We will not obey the words of the king nor depart from our religion in the slightest degree."

决不背弃法律和教规，决不听从君王的谕令，而背离我们的教规，或偏左或偏右。”

 

As he finished saying these words, a certain Jew came forward in the sight of all to offer sacrifice on the altar in Modein according to the king's order.

他刚说完了这些话，正有一个犹太人前来，当众在摩丁的祭坛上祭神，全照君王的谕令。

 

When Mattathias saw him, he was filled with zeal; his heart was moved and his just fury was aroused; he sprang forward and killed him upon the altar.

玛塔提雅一见，激起了怒火，五内俱焚，要照法律发泄义怒，于是冲上前去，把那人杀死在祭坛上。

 

At the same time, he also killed the messenger of the king who was forcing them to sacrifice, and he tore down the altar.

他同时也把迫令人民献祭的官吏杀了，并把祭坛拆毁。

 

Thus he showed his zeal for the law, just as Phinehas did with Zimri, son of Salu.

他对于法律这样热诚，完全像丕乃哈斯对撒路的儿子齐默黎所作的一样。

 

Then Mattathias went through the city shouting, "Let everyone who is zealous for the law and who stands by the covenant follow after me!"

于是玛塔提雅在城内高声喊说：“凡热心法律，拥护盟约的，请跟我来！”

 

Thereupon he fled to the mountains with his sons, leaving behind in the city all their possessions.

接着，他和他的儿子把所有的家产都留在城里，逃到山中去了。

 

Many who sought to live according to righteousness and religious custom went out into the desert to settle there.

那时，有许多拥护正义正道的人，也都逃到旷野里去居住。

God the LORD has spoken and summoned the earth, from the rising of the sun to its setting. From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.

领：上主，全能者天主，出令传召下土，由日出之处直到日落之地。天主由美丽绝伦的熙雍，发出光明。

 

R. To the upright I will show the saving power of God.

【答】：行为正直的人必享见天主的救恩。

 

"Gather my faithful ones before me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice." And the heavens proclaim his justice; for God himself is the judge.

领：“你们应当给我聚集虔敬的人，就是那以牺牲与我订立盟约的人。”诸天要宣示天主的公正，因为他要亲自审判世人。

 

R. To the upright I will show the saving power of God.

 

【答】：行为正直的人必享见天主的救恩。

 

Offer to God praise as your sacrifice and fulfill your vows to the Most High; Then call upon me in time of distress; I will rescue you, and you shall glorify me.

领：你该向天主奉献颂谢祭，你又该向至高者还你的誓愿；并在困厄的时日呼号我，我必拯救你，你要光荣我。

 

R. To the upright I will show the saving power of God.

【答】：行为正直的人必享见天主的救恩。

 

Gospel Lk 19:41-44

福音（但愿你也知道有关你平安的事。）

恭读圣路加福音 19:41-44

 

As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, "If this day you only knew what makes for peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes.

耶稣临近耶路撒冷的时候，望见京城，便为她哀哭说：“恨不得在这一天，你也知道有关你平安的事；但这事如今在你眼前是隐藏的。

 

For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides.

的确，日子将临于你。你的仇敌要在你四周筑起壁垒，包围你，四面围困你；

 

They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation."

又要消灭你，及在你城墙内的子民；在你内决不留一块石头在另一块石头上，因为你没有认出天主眷顾你的时机。”
