First Reading: ROM 15:14-21

读经一（我为外邦人成了耶稣基督的使臣，好使外邦人成为可悦纳的祭品。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致罗马人书 15:14-21

 

I myself am convinced about you, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to admonish one another.

我的弟兄们：我本人深信你们是充满善意，满备各种知识的，并能彼此劝勉。

 

But I have written to you rather boldly in some respects to remind you, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles

我给你们写信未免有些大胆，不过我只想唤起你们的回忆，因为天主赐给了我恩宠，使我为外邦人成了基督的使者，

 

in performing the priestly service of the Gospel of God, so that the offering up of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

天主福音的司祭，好使外邦人经圣神的圣化，成为蒙悦纳的祭品。

 

In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to boast in what pertains to God.

所以，对于事奉天主的事，我可以在基督内夸口。

 

For I will not dare to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to lead the Gentiles to obedience by word and deed, by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God,

我不敢提别的，只说基督藉我，以言语，以行动，藉着奇迹和异事，以及天主圣神的德能所作的，使外邦人归顺的事，

 

so that from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum I have finished preaching the Gospel of Christ.

这样，我从耶路撒冷及其四周，直到依里黎苛，传遍了基督的福音；

 

Thus I aspire to proclaim the Gospel not where Christ has already been named, so that I do not build on another's foundation, but as it is written:

并且立志专在没有认识基督的地方传布福音，免得我在别人的基础上建筑。经上记载：

 

Those who have never been told of him shall see, and those who have never heard of him shall understand.

关于他，那些没有得到传报的人，必要看见；那些没有听说过的人，必要明瞭。

Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done wondrous deeds; His right hand has won victory for him, his holy arm.

领：请众向上主歌唱新歌，因为他行了奇事。他的右手和他的圣臂，为他赢得了胜利。

 

R. The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power.

【答】：上主宣布了他的救恩，将他的正义显示给万民。

 

The LORD has made his salvation known: in the sight of the nations he has revealed his justice. He has remembered his kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel.

领：上主已经宣布了自己的救恩，将自己的正义启示给万民。他记起了自己的良善和忠诚，即向以色列家族广施的宽仁。

 

R. The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power.

All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation by our God. Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands; break into song; sing praise.

领：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。因此，普世大地，请向上主歌舞，请踊跃欢乐，请弹琴演奏。

Gospel LK 16:1-8

福音（这些世俗之子在应付世俗的事务上，比光明之子更为精明。）

Jesus said to his disciples, "A rich man had a steward who was reported to him for squandering his property.

那时候，耶稣对门徒说：“曾有一个富翁，他有一个管家；有人在主人前告发这管家挥霍了主人的财物。

 

He summoned him and said, 'What is this I hear about you? Prepare a full account of your stewardship, because you can no longer be my steward.'

主人便把他叫来，向他说：我怎么听说你有这样的事呢？把你管理家务的帐目交出来，因为你不能再作管家了。

 

The steward said to himself, 'What shall I do, now that my master is taking the position of steward away from me? I am not strong enough to dig and I am ashamed to beg.

那管家自言自语道：主人要撤去我管家的职务，我可做什么呢？掘地罢，我没有气力；讨饭罢，我又害羞。

 

I know what I shall do so that, when I am removed from the stewardship, they may welcome me into their homes.' He called in his master's debtors one by one.

我知道我要做什么，好叫人们在我被撤去管家职务之后，收留我在他们家中。于是他把主人的债户一一叫来，

 

To the first he said, 'How much do you owe my master?' He replied, 'One hundred measures of olive oil.' He said to him, 'Here is your promissory note. Sit down and quickly write one for fifty.'

对第一个说：你欠我主人多少？那人说：一百桶油。管家向他说：拿你的帐单，坐下快写作五十。

 

Then to another he said, 'And you, how much do you owe?' He replied, 'One hundred measures of wheat.'

随后，又对另一个说：你欠多少？那人说：一百石麦子。

 

He said to him, 'Here is your promissory note; write one for eighty.' And the master commended that dishonest steward for acting prudently.

管家向他说：拿你的帐单，写作八十。主人遂称赞这个不义的管家，办事精明：

 

For the children of this world are more prudent in dealing with their own generation than the children of light."

这些世俗之子应付世俗的事务，比光明之子更为精明。”
