First Reading: ROM 11:29-36

读经一（天主把众人都禁锢在不服从中，是为了要怜悯众人。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致罗马人书 11:29-36

 

Brothers and sisters: The gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.

弟兄们：天主的恩赐和召选是决不会撤回的。

 

Just as you once disobeyed God but have now received mercy because of their disobedience,

就如你们以前背叛了天主，如今却因了以色列人的背叛而蒙受了怜悯；

 

so they have now disobeyed in order that, by virtue of the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy.

同样，因了你们所受的怜悯，他们如今背叛，这是为叫他们今后也蒙受怜悯，

 

For God delivered all to disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all.

因为天主把众人都禁锢在背叛之中，是为要怜悯众人。

 

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and how unsearchable his ways!

啊！天主的富饶、上智和知识，是多么高深！他的决断是多么不可测量！他的道路是多么不可探察！

 

For who has known the mind of the Lord or who has been his counselor? Or who has given him anything that he may be repaid?

有谁曾知道上主的心意？或者，有谁曾当过他的顾问？或者，有谁曾先施恩于他，而望他还报呢？

 

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To God be glory forever. Amen.

因为万物都出于他，依赖他，而归于他。愿光荣归于他，至于永世！亚孟。

【答】：天主，求你按你丰厚的慈爱应允我。

 

But I am afflicted and in pain; let your saving help, O God, protect me. I will praise the name of God in song, and I will glorify him with thanksgiving.

领：天主，我既贫乏又忧苦，求你救助我、卫护我：我要用诗歌赞美天主的名号，并要用感恩的心宣扬天主的光荣。

 

R. Lord, in your great love, answer me.

【答】：天主，求你按你丰厚的慈爱应允我。

 

See, you lowly ones, and be glad; you who seek God, may your hearts revive! For the LORD hears the poor, and his own who are in bonds he spurns not.

领：卑微的人，你们要观看，并要喜庆；寻求天主的人，你们的心必要兴奋，因为上主常俯听贫苦的人，从不忘记被囚的人。

 

R. Lord, in your great love, answer me.

【答】：天主，求你按你丰厚的慈爱应允我。

 

For God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah. They shall dwell in the land and own it, and the descendants of his servants shall inherit it, and those who love his name shall inhabit it.

领：天主要拯救熙雍，重建犹大的城池，使他的仆人住在那里，并占有作为基地。他仆人的后裔将要承继此地，爱慕他名的人也要住在这里。

【答】：天主，求你按你丰厚的慈爱应允我。

 

Gospel Lk 14:12-14

福音（不要请你的朋友赴宴，但要请贫穷的、残废的人。）

恭读圣路加福音 14:12-14

 

On a sabbath Jesus went to dine at the home of one of the leading Pharisees. He said to the host who invited him,

那时候，耶稣对请他的人——法利塞人的一个领袖说：

 

"When you hold a lunch or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or sisters or your relatives or your wealthy neighbors, in case they may invite you back and you have repayment.

几时你设午宴或晚宴时，不要请你的朋友、兄弟、亲戚及富有的邻人，怕他们也要回请而还报你。

 

Rather, when you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind;

但你几时设筵，要请贫穷的、残废的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的人。

 

blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you.

如此，你有福了，因为他们没有可报答你的；

 

For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

但在义人复活的时候，你必能得到偿报。”
