First Reading:  JGS 6:11-24A

读经一（基德红，你去拯救以色列；看！我派遣了你。）

恭读民长纪 6:11-24

 

The angel of the LORD came and sat under the terebinth in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite. While his son Gideon was beating out wheat in the wine press to save it from the Midianites, 

那时，上主的使者来到，坐在敖弗辣的一棵属于阿彼厄则尔人约阿士的笃耨树下，当时他的儿子基德红正在酿酒池里打麦子，躲避米德杨人。

 

the angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, "The LORD is with you, O champion!" Gideon said to him, "My Lord, if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us?  

上主的使者显现给他，对他说：“英勇的壮士，愿上主与你同在！”基德红回答他说：“我主，请原谅！如果上主与我们同在，我们怎会遭遇这些困难？

 

Where are his wondrous deeds of which our fathers told us when they said, 'Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?' 

我祖先给我们所讲过的那一切奇事，如今在那里他们曾向我们说过：看，是上主领我们出离埃及，

 

For now the LORD has abandoned us and has delivered us into the power of Midian."

但是现在上主抛弃了我们，将我们交在米德杨人的掌握中。”

 

The LORD turned to him and said, "Go with the strength you have and save Israel from the power of Midian. It is I who send you." 

上主注视他说：“凭你这种力量，你去拯救以色列脱离米德杨人的掌握。看，是我派遣你。”

 

But Gideon answered him, "Please, my lord, how can I save Israel? My family is the lowliest in Manasseh, and I am the most insignificant in my father's house." 

他回答说：“我主，请原谅！我凭什么拯救以色列？看，我家在默纳协支派中是最卑微的，我在我父亲家中又是最小的一个。”

 

"I shall be with you," the LORD said to him, "and you will cut down Midian to the last man." 

上主对他说：“有我与你同在，你必击败米德杨人，如同击败一个人一样。”

 

Gideon answered him, "If I find favor with you, give me a sign that you are speaking with me. 

基德红又向上主说：“我若在你面前蒙恩，请你给我一个记号，证明与我说话的是你。

 

Do not depart from here, I pray you, until I come back to you and bring out my offering and set it before you." He answered, "I will await your return."

请你不要离开此地，等我回到你这里，带来礼物，摆在你前。”他答应说：“我等你回来。”

 

So Gideon went off and prepared a kid and a measure of flour in the form of unleavened cakes. 

基德红就去预备了一只小公山羊，又用一“厄法”麦粉作了无酵饼，

 

Putting the meat in a basket and the broth in a pot, he brought them out to him under the terebinth and presented them. 

把肉放在筐里，把汤盛在罐里，带到笃耨树下献给上主。

 

The angel of God said to him, "Take the meat and unleavened cakes and lay them on this rock; then pour out the broth." 

天主的使者对他说：“拿出肉和无酵饼来，放在这盘石上，把汤倒出来！”

 

When he had done so, the angel of the LORD stretched out the tip of the staff he held, and touched the meat and unleavened cakes.

他就照样作了。上主的使者遂伸出手中拿的棍杖，杖头一触及肉和无酵饼，

 

Thereupon a fire came up from the rock that consumed the meat and unleavened cakes, and the angel of the LORD disappeared from sight. 

盘石便起火，把肉和无酵饼吞噬了；上主的使者便从他跟前隐没了。

 

Gideon, now aware that it had been the angel of the LORD, said, "Alas, Lord GOD, that I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face!" 

基德红遂知道他是上主的使者，说：“哎呀！我主上主，我竟然面对面地看见上主的使者！”

 

The LORD answered him, "Be calm, do not fear. You shall not die." So Gideon built there an altar to the LORD and called it Yahweh-shalom.

但上主对他说：“你放心！不必害怕，你不会死！”基德红就在那里给上主立了一座祭坛，称为雅威沙隆，意即上主的平安。

R.  The Lord speaks of peace to his people.

【答】：上主向自己子民所说的话，确是和平纶音。

 

I will hear what God proclaims; the LORD–for he proclaims peace. To his people, and to his faithful ones, and to those who put in him their hope.

领：我要听天主上主说的话：他向自己的圣者和子民，以及向他回心转意的人，所说的话确是和平纶音。

 

R.  The Lord speaks of peace to his people.

【答】：上主向自己子民所说的话，确是和平纶音。

 

Kindness and truth shall meet; justice and peace shall kiss. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and justice shall look down from heaven.

领：仁爱和忠信必彼此相迎，正义与和平必彼此相亲。忠信从地下生出，正义由天上远瞩。

 

R.  The Lord speaks of peace to his people.

【答】：上主向自己子民所说的话，确是和平纶音。

 

The LORD himself will give his benefits; our land shall yield its increase. Justice shall walk before him, and salvation, along the way of his steps.

领：上主也必赐下康乐幸福；我们的地必有他的收获。正义在上主前面行走，救恩必随上主的脚步。

 

R.  The Lord speaks of peace to his people.

【答】：上主向自己子民所说的话，确是和平纶音。

 

Gospel MT 19:23-30

福音（骆驼穿过针孔﹐比富人进入天国还容易。）

恭读圣玛窦福音 19:23-30

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "Amen, I say to you, it will be hard for one who is rich to enter the Kingdom of heaven. 

那时候，耶稣对门徒说：“我实在告诉你们：富人难进天国。

 

Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the Kingdom of God." 

我再告诉你们，骆驼穿过针孔，比富人进天国还容易。”

 

When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and said, "Who then can be saved?" 

门徒听了，就非常惊异说：“这样，谁还能得救呢？”

 

Jesus looked at them and said, "For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible."

耶稣注视他们说：“为人这是不可能的；但为天主，一切都是可能的。”

 

Then Peter said to him in reply, "We have given up everything and followed you. What will there be for us?" 

那时，伯多禄开口对他说：“看，我们舍弃了一切，跟随了你；那么，将来我们可得到什么呢？”

 

Jesus said to them, "Amen, I say to you that you who have followed me, in the new age, when the Son of Man is seated on his throne of glory, will yourselves sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 

耶稣对他们说：“我实在告诉你们：你们这些跟随我的人，在重生的世代，人子坐在自己光荣的宝座上时，你们也要坐在十二宝座上，审判以色列十二支派；

 

And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive a hundred times more, and will inherit eternal life. 

并且，凡为我的名，舍弃了房屋、或兄弟、或姊妹、或父亲、或母亲、或妻子、或儿女、或田地的，必要领取百倍的赏报，并承受永生。

 

But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first."

有许多在先的要成为在后的　在后的要成为在先的。”
