读经一(梅瑟按上主所预定的死了﹐以后没有兴起一位像他一样的先知。)

恭读申命纪 34:1-12

 

Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, the headland of Pisgah which faces Jericho, and the LORD showed him all the land—Gilead, and as far as Dan,

梅瑟由摩阿布旷野上了乃波山,上到耶里哥对面的丕斯加峰,上主就将全地指给他看:即由基肋阿得直到丹,

 

all Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Western Sea, the Negeb, the circuit of the Jordan with the lowlands at Jericho, city of palms, and as far as Zoar.

纳斐塔里和厄弗辣因及默纳协全地,直达西海的犹大全境,乃革布和棕榈城的耶里哥山谷盆地,直到左哈尔。

 

The LORD then said to him, "This is the land which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that I would give to their descendants.

上主对他说:“这就是我对亚巴郎、依撒格和雅各伯誓许说我要给你后裔的土地。

 

I have let you feast your eyes upon it, but you shall not cross over." So there, in the land of Moab, Moses, the servant of the LORD, died as the LORD had said;

我让你亲眼看见,但你不能过去。”上主的仆人梅瑟遂死在那里,按上主所预定的,死在摩阿布地。

 

and he was buried in the ravine opposite Beth-peor in the land of Moab, but to this day no one knows the place of his burial.

上主将他葬在摩阿布地,面对贝特培敖尔的一个山谷内;直到今日没有人知道埋葬他的地方。

 

Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were undimmed and his vigor unabated.

梅瑟死时,已一百二十岁;他的眼睛未花,精力也未衰退。

 

For thirty days the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab, till they had completed the period of grief and mourning for Moses.

以色列子民在摩阿布旷野哀悼了梅瑟三十日。为梅瑟举哀的日期满了,

 

Now Joshua, son of Nun, was filled with the spirit of wisdom, since Moses had laid his hands upon him; and so the children of Israel gave him their obedience, thus carrying out the LORD's command to Moses.

农的儿子若苏厄,因梅瑟曾按手在他身上,充满了智慧之神;为此,以色列子民都听从他,全照上主向梅瑟所吩咐的去行。

 

Since then no prophet has arisen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face.

以后在以色列中,再没有兴起一位像梅瑟一样的先知,与上主面对面地来往;

 

He had no equal in all the signs and wonders the LORD sent him to perform in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh and all his servants and against all his land, and for the might and the terrifying power that Moses exhibited in the sight of all Israel.

至于上主派他在埃及地,向法郎和他的一切臣仆,并向他全地所行的一切神迹和奇事,以及他在全以色列眼前所行的一切伟大作为,和一切令人畏惧的大事,也没有人能与他相比。

Shout joyfully to God, all the earth; sing praise to the glory of his name; proclaim his glorious praise. Say to God: "How tremendous are your deeds!"

领:普世的大地广土,请你们向天主欢呼!请歌颂他圣名的光荣,请献给他辉煌的赞颂。请你们向天主说:“你的作为是何等惊人!”

 

R.  Blessed be God who filled my soul with fire!

【答】:天主应受赞美,因为他炽热我的灵魂。

 

Come and see the works of God, his tremendous deeds among the children of Adam. Bless our God, you peoples; loudly sound his praise.

领:请你们前来观看天主的作为,他对世人所作的事实在奇妙。万民,请你们赞美我们的天主,请传扬他应受到的荣誉。

 

R.  Blessed be God who filled my soul with fire!

【答】:天主应受赞美,因为他炽热我的灵魂。

 

Hear now, all you who fear God, while I declare what he has done for me. When I appealed to him in words, praise was on the tip of my tongue.

领:凡敬畏天主的人,请你们前来静听,我要叙述他为我的灵魂所作的一切。我曾亲口呼号过他,我的舌头称扬过他。

【答】:天主应受赞美,因为他炽热我的灵魂。

 

Gospel MT 18:15-20

福音(如果你的弟兄听从了你,你便赢取了他。)

恭读圣玛窦福音 18:15-20

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother.

那时,耶稣对门徒说:“如果你的弟兄得罪了你,去,要在你和他独处的时候,规劝他,如果他听从了你,你便赚得了你的兄弟;

 

If he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, so that every fact may be established on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

但他如果不听,你就另带上一个或两个人,为叫任何事情,凭两个或三个见证人的口供,得以成立。

 

If he refuses to listen to them, tell the Church. If he refuses to listen even to the Church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector.

若是他仍不听从他们,你要告诉教会;如果他连教会也不听从,你就将他看作外教人或税吏。

 

Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

我实在告诉你们:凡你们在地上所束缚的,在天上也要被束缚;凡你们在地上所释放的,在天上也要被释放。

 

Again, amen, I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father.

我实在告诉你们:若你们中有两个人,在地上同心合意,无论为什么事祈祷,我在天之父,必要给他们成就,

 

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

因为那里有两个或三个人,因我的名字聚在一起,我就在他们中间。
