First Reading: DT 31:1-8

读经一（若苏厄，你要勇敢坚决，因为你应带领人民进入福地。）

恭读申命纪 31:1-8

 

When Moses had finished speaking to all Israel, he said to them, "I am now one hundred and twenty years old and am no longer able to move about freely; besides, the LORD has told me that I shall not cross this Jordan.

梅瑟向全以色列人说：“我今天已经一百二十岁，再不能出入；而且上主曾对我说：‘你不能过这约但河。’

 

It is the LORD, your God, who will cross before you; he will destroy these nations before you, that you may supplant them.

上主你的天主亲自要领你过去，亲自要由你面前将这些民族消灭，使你占领他们的土地；

 

It is Joshua who will cross before you, as the LORD promised.

按上主所许诺的，若苏厄将领你们过去。

 

The LORD will deal with them just as he dealt with Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites whom he destroyed, and with their country.

上主对待那些民族，必像以前对待阿摩黎人王息红和敖格，以及他们的国一样，将他们完全消灭。

 

When, therefore, the LORD delivers them up to you, you must deal with them exactly as I have ordered you.

上主必将他们交于你们，你们应依照我吩咐你们的一切命令，对待他们。

 

Be brave and steadfast; have no fear or dread of them, for it is the LORD, your God, who marches with you; he will never fail you or forsake you."

你们应勇敢坚决，不要害怕，在他们面前也不要畏惧，因为上主你的天主亲自与你同行，决不抛弃你，也决不离开你。”

 

Then Moses summoned Joshua and in the presence of all Israel said to him, "Be brave and steadfast, for you must bring this people into the land which the LORD swore to their fathers he would give them; you must put them in possession of their heritage.

然后梅瑟召若苏厄来，当着全以色列的面对他说：“你要勇敢坚决，因为你应领这人民，进入上主向他们祖先誓许要赐予他们的土地；你应将那地分给他们作为基业。

 

It is the LORD who marches before you; he will be with you and will never fail you or forsake you. So do not fear or be dismayed."

上主必亲自领导你，与你同在，决不抛弃你，也决不离开你；你不要害怕，也不要胆怯。”

For I will sing the LORD's renown. Oh, proclaim the greatness of our God! The Rock–how faultless are his deeds, how right all his ways!

领：我要宣扬上主的名，请赞颂我们的天主！他是盘石，他的作为完美无比；他的行径公平正直。

【答】：以色列成为上主特有的产业。

 

Think back on the days of old, reflect on the years of age upon age. Ask your father and he will inform you, ask your elders and they will tell you.

领：你回想往古的时日，思念历代的岁月；问你的父亲，问你的长辈，他必给你讲述。

【答】：以色列成为上主特有的产业。

 

When the Most High assigned the nations their heritage, when he parceled out the descendants of Adam, He set up the boundaries of the peoples after the number of the sons of Israel.

领：当至高者为民族分配产业时，分布世人的子孙时，按照天主子民的数目，为万民划定了疆界。

【答】：以色列成为上主特有的产业。

 

While the LORD's own portion was Jacob, his hereditary share was Israel. The LORD alone was their leader, no strange god was with him.

领：雅各伯是上主所保留的一份，以色列成为他特有的产业。上主独自领导了他，他旁边并没有外邦的神。

Gospel MT 18:1-5, 10, 12-14

福音（你们小心，不要轻视这些小子中的一个。）

恭读圣玛窦福音 18:1-5,10,12-14

 

The disciples approached Jesus and said, "Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?"

就在那时刻，门徒来到耶稣跟前说：“在天国里究竟谁是最大的？”

 

He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said, "Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven.

耶稣就叫一个小孩来，使他站在他们中间，说：“我实在告诉你们：你们若不悔改而变成如同小孩一样，你们决不能进天国。

 

Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.

所以，谁若自谦自卑如同这一个小孩，这人就是天国中最大的。无论谁因我的名字，收留一个这样的小孩，就是收留我。

 

See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.

你们小心！不要轻视这些小子中的一个，因为我告诉你们：他们的天使在天上，常见我在天之父的面。”

 

What is your opinion? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills and go in search of the stray?

耶稣又说：“你们以为如何？如果一个人有一百只羊，其中一只迷失了路，他岂不把那九十九只羊留在山上，而去寻找那只迷失了路的吗？

 

And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not stray. In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father that one of these little ones be lost.

如果他幸运找着了，我实在告诉你们：他为这一只，比为那九十九只没有迷路的，更觉欢喜；同样，使这些小子中的一个丧亡，决不是你们在天之父的意愿。”
