First Reading: 2 COR 3:15—4:1, 3-6

读经一（主曾照耀我们的心，使我们以所闪耀天主光荣的知识来光照别人。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致格林多人后书 3:15-4:1,3-6

 

Brothers and sisters: To this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over the hearts of the children of Israel, but whenever a person turns to the Lord the veil is removed.

弟兄们：直到今天，几时读梅瑟时，还有帕子盖在他们的心上；他们几时转向主，帕子就会除掉。

 

Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

主就是那神：主的神在那里，那里就有自由。

 

All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit.

我们众人以揭开的脸面反映主的光荣的，渐渐地光荣上加光荣，都变成了与主同样的肖像，正如由主，即神在我们内所完成的。

 

Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy shown us, we are not discouraged.

为此，我们既蒙垂青，获得了这职务，我们决不胆怯；

 

And even though our Gospel is veiled, it is veiled for those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers,

但如果说我们的福音也被蒙住了，那只是为丧亡的人蒙着，因为今世的神已蒙蔽了这些不信者的心意，

 

so that they may not see the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

免得他们看见基督荣耀的福音之光；基督是天主的肖像。

 

For we do not preach ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus.

我们不是宣传我们自己，而是宣传耶稣基督为主，我们只是因耶稣的缘故作了你们的奴仆。

 

For God who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the glory of God on the face of Jesus Christ.

因为那吩咐“光从黑暗中照耀”的天主，曾经照耀在我们心中，为使我们以那在耶稣基督的面貌上，所闪耀的天主的光荣的知识，来光照别人。

【答】：上主的光荣在我们的地上久存。

 

I will hear what God proclaims; the LORD–for he proclaims peace to his people. Near indeed is his salvation to those who fear him, glory dwelling in our land.

领：我要听天主上主说的话：所说的话确是和平纶音。他的救恩必接近敬畏他的人，为使光荣在我们的地上久存。

 

R. The glory of the Lord will dwell in our land.

【答】：上主的光荣在我们的地上久存。

 

Kindness and truth shall meet; justice and peace shall kiss. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and justice shall look down from heaven.

领：仁爱和忠信必彼此相迎，正义与和平必彼此相亲。忠信从地下生出，正义由天上远瞩。

 

R. The glory of the Lord will dwell in our land.

【答】：上主的光荣在我们的地上久存。

 

The LORD himself will give his benefits; our land shall yield its increase. Justice shall walk before him, and salvation, along the way of his steps.

领：上主也必赐下康乐幸福，我们的地必有他的收获。正义在上主前面行走，救恩必随上主的脚步。

 

R. The glory of the Lord will dwell in our land.

【答】：上主的光荣在我们的地上久存。

 

Gospel MT 5:20-26

福音（凡向自己弟兄发怒的﹐就要受裁判。）

恭读圣玛窦福音 5:20-26

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter into the Kingdom of heaven.

那时候，耶稣对他的门徒说：“我告诉你们﹕除非你们的义德超过经师和法利塞人的义德，你们决进不了天国。

 

You have heard that it was said to your ancestors, You shall not kill; and whoever kills will be liable to judgment.

你们一向听过给古人说：‘不可杀人！’谁若杀了人，应受裁判。

 

But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment, and whoever says to his brother, 'Raqa,' will be answerable to the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, 'You fool,' will be liable to fiery Gehenna.

我却对你们说：凡向自己弟兄发怒的，就要受裁判；谁若向自己的弟兄说‘傻子’，就要受议会的裁判；谁若说‘疯子’，就要受火狱的罚。

 

Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

所以，你若在祭坛前，要献你的礼物时，在那里想起你的弟兄有什么怨你的事，就把你的礼物留在那里，留在祭坛前，先去与你的弟兄和好，然后再来献你的礼物。

 

Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him. Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge, and the judge will hand you over to the guard, and you will be thrown into prison.

当你和你的对头还在路上，赶快与他和解，免得对头把你交与判官，判官交给差役，把你投在狱里。

 

Amen, I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny."

我实在告诉你：非到你还了最后的一文，决不能从那里出来。”
