The Ascension of the Lord

耶稣升天节

 

 

First Reading: ACTS 1:1-11

读经一（耶稣就在门徒观望中，被举上升。）

恭读宗徒大事录 1:1-11

 

In the first book, Theophilus, I dealt with all that Jesus did and taught until the day he was taken up, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.

德敖斐罗，我在第一部书中，已论及耶稣所行所教的一切，直到祂藉圣神，嘱咐了所选的宗徒之后，被接去的那一天为止。

 

He presented himself alive to them by many proofs after he had suffered, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.

祂受难以后，用了许多凭据，向他们显明自己还活着，四十天之久，显现给他们，讲论天主国的事。

 

While meeting with them, he enjoined them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for "the promise of the Father about which you have heard me speak;

耶稣与他们一起进食时，吩咐他们不要离开耶路撒冷，但要等候父的恩许，说：“你们听我所说过的，

 

for John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

若翰固然以水施了洗，但不多几天以后，你们要因圣神受洗。”

 

When they had gathered together they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"

他们聚集的时候，就问耶稣说：“主，现在就要给以色列复国吗？”

 

He answered them, "It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority.

耶稣回答说：“父以自己的权柄，所定的时间和日期，不是你们应当知道的；

 

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

但当圣神降临于你们身上时，你们将充满圣神的德能，要在耶路撒冷，及全犹太和撒玛黎雅，并直到地极，为我作证人。”

 

When he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.

耶稣说完这些话，就在他们观望中，被举上升，有一朵云彩接了他去，离开他们的眼界。

 

While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going, suddenly two men dressed in white garments stood beside them.

他们向天注视着他上升的时候，忽然，有两个穿白衣的人，站在他们面前，

 

They said, "Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven."

向他们说：“加里肋亚人！你们为什么站着望天呢？这位离开你们，被接到天上去的耶稣，你们看见祂怎样升了天，也要怎样降来。”

【答】：天主上升，有欢呼之声护送；上主腾空，有号角之声相从。

 

All you peoples, clap your hands, shout to God with cries of gladness, For the LORD, the Most High, the awesome, is the great king over all the earth.

领：万民，你们要鼓掌欢腾，也要向天主欢呼庆祝。因上主至大至尊，可敬可畏；他是统治宇宙的伟大君王。

 

R. God mounts his throne to shouts of joy: a blare of trumpets for the Lord.

【答】：天主上升，有欢呼之声护送；上主腾空，有号角之声相从。

 

God mounts his throne amid shouts of joy; the LORD, amid trumpet blasts. Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our king, sing praise.

领：天主上升，有欢呼之声护送；上主腾空，有号角之声相从。你们应歌颂，歌颂我们的天主；你们应歌颂，歌颂我们的君王。

【答】：天主上升，有欢呼之声护送；上主腾空，有号角之声相从。

 

For king of all the earth is God; sing hymns of praise. God reigns over the nations, God sits upon his holy throne.

领：因为天主是普世的君王，你们都应该以诗歌赞扬。天主为王，统治万国；天主登上神圣的宝座。

【答】：天主上升，有欢呼之声护送；上主腾空，有号角之声相从。

 

Second Reading : EPH 1:17-23

读经二（使他在天上坐在自己的右边。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致厄弗所人书  1:17-23

 

Brothers and sisters: May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a Spirit of wisdom and revelation resulting in knowledge of him.

弟兄们：愿我们的主耶稣基督的天主，就是那光荣的父，把智慧和启示的神恩，赐予你们，使你们认识他；

 

May the eyes of your hearts be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call, what are the riches of glory in his inheritance among the holy ones,

并求他光照你们的心，使你们认清他的宠召有什么希望，他赐给圣徒的嗣业又怎样充满了光荣。

 

and what is the surpassing greatness of his power for us who believe,

他为我们虔信的人，所施展的能力是多么无限的伟大。

 

in accord with the exercise of his great might: which he worked in Christ, raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavens,

他曾将这非常的能力施展在基督身上，使他从死人中复活，使他在天上坐在自己的右边，

 

far above every principality, authority, power, and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this age but also in the one to come.

远远超越一切执政的、掌权的、异能的、统治的，以及现世和来世可能称呼的名衔之上；

 

And he put all things beneath his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way.

他又将万有归服在基督的脚下，使基督在教会内作至高的元首，这教会就是基督的身体，是那位在一切内充满一切者的圆满。

Gospel  LK 24:46-53

福音（耶稣正降福他们的时候，被提升天去了。）

恭读圣路加福音 24:46-53

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

那时候，耶稣对门徒说：“经上曾这样记载：默西亚必须受苦，第三天要从死者中复活；并且必须从耶路撒冷开始，因祂的名，向万邦宣讲悔改，以得罪之赦。

 

You are witnesses of these things. And behold I am sending the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."

你们就是这些事的见证人。“看，我要把我父所恩许的，遣发到你们身上。至于你们，你们应当留在这城中，直到佩戴上自高天而来的能力。”

 

Then he led them out as far as Bethany, raised his hands, and blessed them. As he blessed them he parted from them and was taken up to heaven.

耶稣领他们出去，直到伯达尼附近，就举手降福了他们。正降福他们的时候，就离开他们，被提升天去了。

 

They did him homage and then returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and they were continually in the temple praising God.

他们叩拜了耶稣，皆大喜欢，返回耶路撒冷，常在圣殿里称谢天主。
