First Reading: ACTS 15:22-31

读经一（圣神和我们决定，除了必要的事外，不再加给你们什么重担。）

The Apostles and presbyters, in agreement with the whole Church, decided to choose representatives and to send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas.

当时，宗徒和长老同全教会决定，从他们中选几个人，派他们同保禄和巴尔纳伯去安提约基雅。

 

The ones chosen were Judas, who was called Barsabbas, and Silas, leaders among the brothers.

所派的，有号称巴尔撒巴的犹达和息拉，是弟兄中的领导人物。

 

This is the letter delivered by them: "The Apostles and the presbyters, your brothers, to the brothers in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia of Gentile origin: greetings.

他们带去的信如下：“宗徒和长老弟兄们，给在安提约基雅、叙利亚和基里基雅由外邦归化的弟兄们请安。

 

Since we have heard that some of our number who went out without any mandate from us have upset you with their teachings and disturbed your peace of mind,

我们听说有几个从我们这里去的，而并非我们所派去的人，讲话扰乱你们，混乱了你们的心。

 

we have with one accord decided to choose representatives and to send them to you along with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, who have dedicated their lives to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

我们取得同意后，决定拣选几个人，派他们同我们可爱的巴尔纳伯和保禄，到你们那里去。此二人为了我们主耶稣基督的名，已付出了自己的性命。

 

So we are sending Judas and Silas who will also convey this same message by word of mouth: 'It is the decision of the Holy Spirit and of us not to place on you any burden beyond these necessities,

我们派犹达和息拉去，他们要亲口报告同样的事。因为圣神和我们决定，不再加给你们什么重担，除了这几项重要的事：

 

namely, to abstain from meat sacrificed to idols, from blood, from meats of strangled animals, and from unlawful marriage. If you keep free of these, you will be doing what is right. Farewell.'"

即戒食祭邪神之物、血和窒死之物，并戒避奸淫；若你们戒绝了这一切，那就好了。祝你们安好！”

 

And so they were sent on their journey. Upon their arrival in Antioch they called the assembly together and delivered the letter. When the people read it, they were delighted with the exhortation.

他们去后，就下到安提约基雅，聚集了众人，递上公函。人们读了，对这劝慰的话都十分欢喜。

【答】：上主，我要在万民中赞美你。

 

I will give thanks to you among the peoples, O LORD, I will chant your praise among the nations. For your mercy towers to the heavens, and your faithfulness to the skies. Be exalted above the heavens, O God; above all the earth be your glory!

领：上主，我要在万民中赞美你，上主，我要在列邦中歌颂你，因为你的大爱高越诸天，你的忠信直达霄汉。天主，愿你在天上备受举扬，愿你在地上彰显荣光！

 

R. I will give you thanks among the peoples, O Lord.

【答】：上主，我要在万民中赞美你。

 

Gospel JN 15:12-17

福音（这就是我命令你们的，你们应该彼此相爱。）

恭读圣若望福音　15:12-17

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.

那时，耶稣对门徒说：“这是我的命令：你们该彼此相爱，如同我爱了你们一样。人若为自己的朋友舍掉性命，再没有比这更大的爱情了。

 

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

你们如果实行我所命令你们的，你们就是我的朋友。

 

I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father.

我不再称你们为仆人，因为仆人不知道他主人所做的事。我称你们为朋友，因为凡由我父听来的一切，我都显示给你们了。

 

It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you.

不是你们拣选了我，而是我拣选了你们，并派你们去结果实，去结常存的果实；如此，你们因我的名无论向父求什么，他必赐给你们。

 

This I command you: love one another."

这就是我命令你们的：你们应该彼此相爱。”
