First Reading: ACTS 15:1-6

读经一（大家指定他们上耶路撒冷去见宗徒和长老，讨论这问题。）

Some who had come down from Judea were instructing the brothers, "Unless you are circumcised according to the Mosaic practice, you cannot be saved."

那时，有从犹太下来的几个人教训弟兄们说：“若是你们不按梅瑟的惯例行割损，就不能得救。”

 

Because there arose no little dissension and debate by Paul and Barnabas with them, it was decided that Paul, Barnabas, and some of the others should go up to Jerusalem to the Apostles and presbyters about this question.

保禄和巴尔纳伯同他们起了不少的争执和辩论；大家就指定保禄和巴尔纳伯，与他们中的几个人，上耶路撒冷去见宗徒和长老，讨论这问题。

 

They were sent on their journey by the Church, and passed through Phoenicia and Samaria telling of the conversion of the Gentiles, and brought great joy to all the brethren.

他们由教会送走之后，就路过腓尼基和撒玛黎雅，沿途叙述外邦人归化的事，使众弟兄非常喜欢。

 

When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the Church, as well as by the Apostles and the presbyters, and they reported what God had done with them.

他们到了耶路撒冷，为教会、宗徒和长老所欢迎，就报告了天主偕同他们所行的一切大事。

 

But some from the party of the Pharisees who had become believers stood up and said, "It is necessary to circumcise them and direct them to observe the Mosaic law."

却有几个信教的法利塞党人起来说：“必须叫外邦人受割损，又应该命他们遵守梅瑟法律。”

 

The Apostles and the presbyters met together to see about this matter.

宗徒和长老们就开会商讨此事。

I rejoiced because they said to me, "We will go up to the house of the LORD." And now we have set foot within your gates, O Jerusalem.

领：我喜欢，因为有人向我说：我们要进入上主的圣殿！耶路撒冷！我们的双足已经站立在你的门口。

 

R. Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.

【答】：我喜欢，因为有人向我说：我们要进入上主的圣殿！

 

Jerusalem, built as a city with compact unity. To it the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD.

领：耶路撒冷建筑得好似京城，确是内部划一整齐的京城。各支派，上主的各支派都齐集在那里。

 

R. Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.

【答】：我喜欢，因为有人向我说：我们要进入上主的圣殿！

 

According to the decree for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD. In it are set up judgment seats, seats for the house of David.

领：他们按照以色列的法律称颂上主的名字。那里设立了执政的座席，那里有达味王室的宝位。

 

R. Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.

【答】：我喜欢，因为有人向我说：我们要进入上主的圣殿！

 

Gospel JN 15:1-8

福音（那住在我内，我也住在他内的，他就结许多的果实。）

恭读圣若望福音 15:1-8

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower.

那时，耶稣对门徒说：“我是真葡萄树，我父是园丁。

 

He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and everyone that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you.

凡在我身上不结实的枝条，他便剪掉；凡结实的，他就清理；使它结更多的果实；你们因我对你们所讲的话，已是清洁的了。

 

Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me.

你们住在我内，我也住在你们内。正如枝条若不留在葡萄树上，凭自己不能结实；你们若不住在我内，也一无所能。

 

I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.

我是葡萄树，你们是枝条；那住在我内，我也住在他内的，他就结许多的果实，因为离了我，你们什么也不能作。

 

Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned.

谁若不住在我内，便彷佛枝条，丢在外面而干枯了，人便把它拾起来，投入火中焚烧。

 

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you.

你们如果住在我内，而我的话也存在你们内，如此，你们愿意什么，求吧！必给你们成就。

 

By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples."

我父受光荣，即在于你们多结果实，如此你们就成为我的门徒。”
