Fifth Sunday of Easter

First Reading: ACTS 14:21-27

读经一（宗徒们聚集会众，报告天主偕同他们，所行的一切大事。）

恭读宗徒大事录 14:21-27

 

After Paul and Barnabas had proclaimed the good news to that city and made a considerable number of disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch.

那时候，保禄和巴尔纳伯，在德尔贝城，传扬福音，使许多人成为门徒，以后，回到吕斯特辣、依科尼雍和安提约基雅，

 

They strengthened the spirits of the disciples and exhorted them to persevere in the faith, saying, "It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the kingdom of God."

到处坚固门徒的心，鼓励他们坚持信仰，说：我们必须经过许多困难，才能进入天主的国。

 

They appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, commended them to the Lord in whom they had put their faith.

两人在各教会给他们选立了长老，在祈祷禁食以后，把他们托付于他们所信仰的主。

 

Then they traveled through Pisidia and reached Pamphylia. After proclaiming the word at Perga they went down to Attalia.

以后，保禄和巴尔纳伯又经过丕息狄雅，来到旁非里雅，在培尔革，宣讲道理以后，下到阿塔肋雅，

 

From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work they had now accomplished. 

又从那里，乘船往安提约基雅。他们原来是在那里，被托于天主的恩宠，做现在已完成的工作。

 

And when they arrived, they called the church together and reported what God had done with them and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

他们一到，就聚集会众，报告天主偕同他们，所做的一切大事，及怎样给外邦人，打开了信德的门。

【答】：我的天主，我的君王，我要世世代代颂扬祢，永远歌颂祢的名。

 

The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness. The LORD is good to all and compassionate toward all his works.

领：上主慈悲为怀，宽宏大方，祂常缓于发怒，仁爱无量。上主对待万有，温和善良，对祂的受造物，仁爱慈祥。

 

R. I will praise your name for ever, my king and my God.

【答】：我的天主，我的君王，我要世世代代颂扬祢，永远歌颂祢的名。

 

Let all your works give you thanks, O LORD, and let your faithful ones bless you. Let them discourse of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might.

领：上主，愿祢的一切受造物称谢祢；上主，愿祢的一切圣徒赞美祢，宣传祢王国的光荣，讲述祢的威力大能。

 

R. I will praise your name for ever, my king and my God.

【答】：我的天主，我的君王，我要世世代代颂扬祢，永远歌颂祢的名。

 

Let them make known your might to the children of Adam, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, and your dominion endures through all generations.

领：让世人尽知祢的威能，及祢王国的伟大光荣。祢的王国，是万代的王国；祢的王权，永存于无穷世。

 

R. I will praise your name for ever, my king and my God.

【答】：我的天主，我的君王，我要世世代代颂扬祢，永远歌颂祢的名。

 

Second Reading : REV 21:1-5A

读经二（天主要拭去他们眼上的一切泪痕。）

恭读圣若望默示录 21:1-5

 

Then I, John, saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

我、若望，看见了一个新天新地，因为先前的天与先前的地，已不见了，海也没有了。

 

I also saw the holy city, a new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

我、若望，看见那新耶路撒冷圣城，从天上，由天主那里降下，就如一位装饰好迎接自己丈夫的新娘。

 

I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with the human race.

我听见由宝座那里，有一巨大声音说：“这就是天主与人同在的帐幕，

 

He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them as their God.

祂要同他们住在一起；他们要做祂的人民，祂亲自要‘与他们同在’，做他们的天主。

 

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, for the old order has passed away."

祂要拭去他们眼上的一切泪痕；以后，再也没有死亡，再也没有悲伤，没有哀号，没有苦楚，因为先前的，都已过去了。”

 

The One who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new."

那位坐在宝座上的，说：“看，我已更新了一切。”

Gospel JN 13:31-33A, 34-35

福音（我给你们一条新命令：你们该彼此相爱。）

恭读圣若望福音 13:31-33,34-35

 

When Judas had left them, Jesus said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

犹达斯（从席间）出去以后，耶稣说：“现在，人子受到了光荣，天主也在人子身上，受到了光荣。

 

If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and God will glorify him at once.

天主既然在人子身上，得到了光荣，天主也要在自己内，使人子得到光荣，并且立刻就要光荣祂。

 

My children, I will be with you only a little while longer.

孩子们！我同你们在一起的时候不多了。

 

I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.

我给你们一条新命令：你们该彼此相爱；如同我爱了你们，你们也该照样彼此相爱。

 

This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

如果你们之间，彼此相亲相爱，世人因此就可认出：你们是我的门徒。”
