First Reading: ACTS 13:44-52

On the following Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and with violent abuse contradicted what Paul said.

在一个安息日，全城的人几乎都聚集来了，要听天主的圣道。犹太人一看见这么众多的人，就满心嫉妒，反对保禄所讲的，且加以辱骂。

 

Both Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, "It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first, but since you reject it and condemn yourselves as unworthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.

保禄和巴尔纳伯却放胆地说：“天主的圣道本来先应讲给你们听，但因你们拒而不受，并断定自己不配得永生，看，我们就要转向外邦人，

 

For so the Lord has commanded us, I have made you a light to the Gentiles, that you may be an instrument of salvation to the ends of the earth."

因为主如此命我们说：‘我已立你作为外邦人的光明，使你成为他们的救恩，直到地极。’”

 

The Gentiles were delighted when they heard this and glorified the word of the Lord. All who were destined for eternal life came to believe, and the word of the Lord continued to spread through the whole region.

外邦人听了，都很喜欢，赞美主的圣道；那些被预定获得永生的人，就都信了。主的圣道遂传遍了那地方。

 

The Jews, however, incited the women of prominence who were worshipers and the leading men of the city, stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their territory.

犹太人却挑唆敬畏天主的尊贵妇人和城中的要人，发动迫害保禄和巴尔纳伯，把他们驱逐出境。

 

So they shook the dust from their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium. The disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.

二人就把脚上的尘土向他们拂下，往依科尼雍去了。门徒都充满喜乐和圣神。

领：请众向上主歌唱新歌，因为他行了奇事。他的右手和他的圣臂，为他获得了胜利。

 

R. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.

【答】：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。

 

The LORD has made his salvation known: in the sight of the nations he has revealed his justice. He has remembered his kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel.

领：上主已经宣布了自己的救恩，已将自己的正义启示给万民。他记起了自己的良善和忠诚，即向以色列家族广施的宽仁。

 

R. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.

【答】：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。

 

All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation by our God. Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands; break into song; sing praise.

领：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。因此，普世大地，请向上主歌舞，请踊跃，请欢乐，弹琴演奏。

【答】：全球看见了我们天主的救恩。

 

Gospel JN 14:7-14

福音（谁看见了我，就看见了父。）

恭读圣若望福音 14:7-14

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "If you know me, then you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him."

那时，耶稣对他的门徒说：“你们若认识我，也就必然认识我的父；现在你们已认识他，并且已经看见他。”

 

Philip said to Jesus, "Master, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us."

斐理伯对他说：“主！把父显示给我们，我们就心满意足了。”

 

Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.

耶稣回答说：“斐理伯！这么长久的时候，我和你们在一起，而你还不认识我吗？谁看见了我，就是看见了父；

 

How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?

你怎么说：把父显示给我们呢？你不信我在父内，父在我内吗？

 

The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own. The Father who dwells in me is doing his works.

我对你们所说的话，不是凭我自己讲的；而是住在我内的父，作他自己的事业。

 

Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else, believe because of the works themselves.

你们要相信我：我在父内，父也在我内；若不然，你们至少该因那些事业而相信。

 

Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father.

我实实在在告诉你们：凡信我的，我所做的事业，他也要做，并且还要作比这些更大的事业，因为我往父那里去。

 

And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it."

你们因我的名无论求父什么，我必要践行，为叫父在子身上获得光荣。你们若因我的名向我求什么，我必要践行。”
