First Reading: ACTS 8:26-40

The angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, "Get up and head south on the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza, the desert route." So he got up and set out.

上主的天使向斐理伯说：“起来，往南行，沿着由耶路撒冷下到迦萨的路走，即旷野中的那条路。”他就起来去了。

 

Now there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of the Candace, that is, the queen of the Ethiopians, in charge of her entire treasury, who had come to Jerusalem to worship, and was returning home.

看，有个厄提约丕雅人，是厄提约丕雅女王甘达刻的有权势的太监，也是她宝库的总管；他曾来到耶路撒冷朝圣。

 

Seated in his chariot, he was reading the prophet Isaiah. The Spirit said to Philip, "Go and join up with that chariot."

他回去的时候，坐在车上诵读依撒意亚先知。圣神就向斐理伯说：“你上前去，走近这辆车子！”

 

Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and said, "Do you understand what you are reading?" He replied, "How can I, unless someone instructs me?"

斐理伯就跑过去，听见他诵读依撒意亚先知，便说道：“你明白所诵读的吗？”他答说：“若没有人指教我，怎么能够？”

 

So he invited Philip to get in and sit with him. This was the Scripture passage he was reading: Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opened not his mouth.

于是，请斐理伯上车与他同坐。他所诵读的那段经正是：“他如同被牵去宰杀的羊，又像羔羊在剪毛者前缄默，他也同样不开口。

 

In his humiliation justice was denied him. Who will tell of his posterity? For his life is taken from the earth.

在他屈辱之时，无人为他申辩。谁能描述他的后代呢？因为他的生命从地上被夺去了。”

 

Then the eunuch said to Philip in reply, "I beg you, about whom is the prophet saying this? About himself, or about someone else?"

太监向斐理伯发言说：“请你说：先知说这话是指谁呢？是指自己或是指别人？”

 

Then Philip opened his mouth and, beginning with this Scripture passage, he proclaimed Jesus to him.

斐理伯便开口，从这段经文开始，给他宣讲了耶稣的福音。

 

As they traveled along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "Look, there is water. What is to prevent my being baptized?"

他们沿路前行的时候，来到了一个有水的地方，那太监就说：“看，这里有水；还有什么阻挡我受洗呢？”

 

Then he ordered the chariot to stop, and Philip and the eunuch both went down into the water, and he baptized him.

（斐理伯答说：“你若全心相信，便可以。”他答说：“我信耶稣基督就是天主子。”）他就命车停住，斐理伯和太监两人下到水中，斐理伯给他付了洗。

 

When they came out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, but continued on his way rejoicing.

当他们从水中上来的时候，主的神把斐理伯提去，太监就再看不见他了。他就喜喜欢欢地往前行自己的路。

 

Philip came to Azotus, and went about proclaiming the good news to all the towns until he reached Caesarea.

斐理伯却在阿左托出现，以后经过各城，宣讲福音，直到凯撒勒雅。

Bless our God, you peoples, loudly sound his praise; He has given life to our souls, and has not let our feet slip.

领：万民，请你们赞美我们的天主，请传扬他应受到的荣誉。他曾保存了我们的性命，没有让我们的脚步滑倒。

【答】：普世大地，请向天主欢呼！

 

Hear now, all you who fear God, while I declare what he has done for me. When I appealed to him in words, praise was on the tip of my tongue.

领：凡敬畏天主的人，请你们前来静听，我要叙述他为我灵魂的所作所行。我曾亲口呼号过他，我的舌头称扬过他。

【答】：普世大地，请向天主欢呼！

 

Blessed be God who refused me not my prayer or his kindness!

领：天主应受赞美：因他从未拒绝我的哀恳，他也从来没有从我身上撤回他的慈悯。

Gospel JN 6:44-51

福音（我是从天上降下来的生活的食粮。）

恭读圣若望福音 6:44-51

 

Jesus said to the crowds: "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day. It is written in the prophets: They shall all be taught by God.

那时候，耶稣对群众说：“凡不是派遣我的父所吸引的人，谁也不能到我这里来，而我在末日要叫他复活。在先知书上记载：‘众人都要蒙天主的训诲。’

 

Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me. Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father.

凡由父听教而学习的，必到我这里来。这不是说有人看见过父，只有那从天主来的，才看见过父。

 

Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.

我实实在在告诉你们：信从的人，必得永生。我是生命的食粮。你们的祖先在旷野中吃过‘玛纳’，却死了；这是从天上降下来的食粮，谁吃了，就不死。

 

I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world."

我是从天上降下的生活的食粮；谁若吃了这食粮，必要生活直到永远。我所要赐给的食粮，就是我的肉，是为世界的生命而赐给的。”
