First Reading:  IS 58:1-9A

读经一（难道这不是我所中意的斋戒吗？）

恭读依撒意亚先知书 58:1-9

 

Thus says the Lord GOD: Cry out full-throated and unsparingly, lift up your voice like a trumpet blast; Tell my people their wickedness, and the house of Jacob their sins.

上主天主这样说：你大声呼喊，不要停止，提高你的喉咙，有如号筒，向我的百姓宣布他们的过犯，向雅各伯家指明他们的罪孽。

 

They seek me day after day, and desire to know my ways, Like a nation that has done what is just and not abandoned the law of their God;

他们固然天天寻找我，喜欢认识我的道路，好似一个行义而没有背弃天主法令的民族，

 

They ask me to declare what is due them, pleased to gain access to God. "Why do we fast, and you do not see it? afflict ourselves, and you take no note of it?"

向我要求正义的措施，祈望天主与之接近：“为什么我们守斋而你看不见，我们刻苦而你不理会呢？”

 

Lo, on your fast day you carry out your own pursuits, and drive all your laborers. Yes, your fast ends in quarreling and fighting, striking with wicked claw.

看哪！你们在守斋日仍然苦心经营，勒索你们所有的工人。看哪！你们一面守斋，一面争吵，打架，以恶拳打人；

 

Would that today you might fast so as to make your voice heard on high! Is this the manner of fasting I wish, of keeping a day of penance:

你们不必再如今天一样守斋了，免得你们的嘈杂在高处可以听到。难道这就是我所中意的斋戒吗？难道这就是人们克己的日子吗？

 

That a man bow his head like a reed and lie in sackcloth and ashes? Do you call this a fast, a day acceptable to the LORD?

难道低头如同芦苇，以苦衣和灰尘铺床，你就称为斋戒，称为上主悦纳的日子吗？

 

This, rather, is the fasting that I wish: releasing those bound unjustly, untying the thongs of the yoke; Setting free the oppressed, breaking every yoke;

我所中意的斋戒，岂不是要人解除不义的锁链，废除轭上的绳索，使受压迫者获得自由，折断所有的轭吗？

 

Sharing your bread with the hungry, sheltering the oppressed and the homeless; Clothing the naked when you see them, and not turning your back on your own.

岂不是要人将食粮分给饥饿的人，将无地容身的贫穷人领到自己的屋里，见到赤身露体的人给他衣穿，不要避开你的骨肉吗？

 

Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your wound shall quickly be healed; Your vindication shall go before you, and the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

若这样，你的光明将要射出，有如黎明，你的伤口将会迅速地复原；你的救援要走在你前面，上主的光荣要作你的后盾。

 

Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am!

那时，你如呼喊，上主必要俯允；你若哀求，他必答说：“我在这里！”

R. A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.

【答】：天主，你不轻视痛悔和谦卑的赤心。

 

Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness; in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense. Thoroughly wash me from my guilt and of my sin cleanse me.

领：天主，求你按照你的仁慈怜悯我，依你丰厚的慈爱，消灭我的罪恶。求你把我的过犯洗尽，求你把我的罪恶除净。

 

R. A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.

【答】：天主，你不轻视痛悔和谦卑的赤心。

 

For I acknowledge my offense, and my sin is before me always: "Against you only have I sinned, and done what is evil in your sight."

领：因为我认清了我的过犯，我的罪恶常在我的眼前。我得罪了你，惟独得罪了你，因为我作了你视为恶的事。

 

R. A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.

【答】：天主，你不轻视痛悔和谦卑的赤心。

 

For you are not pleased with sacrifices; should I offer a burnt offering, you would not accept it. My sacrifice, O God, is a contrite spirit; a heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.

领：因为你既然不喜悦祭献，我献全燔祭，你也不喜欢。天主，我的祭献就是这痛悔的精神，天主，你不轻看痛悔和谦卑的赤心。

 

R. A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.

【答】：天主，你不轻视痛悔和谦卑的赤心。

 

Gospel  MT 9:14-15

福音（当新郎从伴郎中间被带走时，他们就要禁食了。）

恭读圣玛窦福音 9:14-15

 

The disciples of John approached Jesus and said, "Why do we and the Pharisees fast much, but your disciples do not fast?"

那时，若翰的门徒来到耶稣跟前说：“为什么我们和法利塞人多次禁食，而你的门徒却不禁食呢？”

 

Jesus answered them, "Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast."

耶稣对他们说：“伴郎岂能当新郎与他们在一起的时候悲哀？但日子将要来到：当新郎从他们中被劫去时，那时他们就要禁食了。”
