First Reading:  SIR 17:1-15

读经一（天主依照自己的肖像造成了人。）

恭读德训篇 17:1-13

 

God from the earth created man, and in his own image he made him. He makes man return to earth again, and endows him with a strength of his own.

上主用尘土造了人，又使人归于尘土，给他限定了日数和时期，赐给他治理世上事物的权力。

 

Limited days of life he gives him, with power over all things else on earth. He puts the fear of him in all flesh, and gives him rule over beasts and birds.

按照自己的本性，赋给他德能；依照自己的肖像，造成了他。使一切生物都畏惧他，使他能制服禽兽。

 

He created for them counsel, and a tongue and eyes and ears, and an inventive heart, and filled them with the discipline of understanding.

赐给人们理智、唇舌、眼目、耳朵和能思想的心，使他们充满知识与理解力。

 

He created in them knowledge of the spirit; With wisdom he fills their heart; good and evil he shows them.

给他们创造了精神的知识，使他们能分别善恶。

 

He put the fear of himself upon their hearts, and showed them his mighty works, that they might glory in the wonder of his deeds and praise his holy name.

天主又把自己的灵光放在他们的心中，为将自己伟大的工程，显示给他们，好使他们能赞美他的圣名，并传述他伟大的工程。

 

He has set before them knowledge, a law of life as their inheritance; an everlasting covenant he has made with them, his justice and his judgments he has revealed to them.

他赐给他们理智，又赐结他们生命的法律，作为产业；和他们立了永久的盟约，使他们认识自己的法令。

 

His majestic glory their eyes beheld, his glorious voice their ears heard. He says to them, "Avoid all evil"; each of them he gives precepts about his fellow men.

他们的眼目看见了他伟大的光荣，他们的耳朵也听见了他庄严的声音。天主对他们说：“要戒避一切不义！”并吩咐他们，每人要关心别人。

 

Their ways are ever known to him, they cannot be hidden from his eyes. Over every nation he places a ruler, but God's own portion is Israel.

他们的道路，时常在他面前，丝毫隐瞒不了他的眼目。他给每个民族，立了一个统治者；但是，以色列显然是上主的一分子。

 

All their actions are clear as the sun to him, his eyes are ever upon their ways.

他们所行的一切，像太阳一般，摆在他面前，他的眼目，时常注视他们的行径。

R. The Lord's kindness is everlasting to those who fear him.

【答】：上主的慈爱永远临于敬畏他的人。

 

As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him, For he knows how we are formed; he remembers that we are dust.

领：就如父亲怎样怜爱自己的儿女们，上主也怎样怜爱敬畏自己的人们。他原知道我们怎样形成，也记得我们不过是灰尘。

 

R. The Lord's kindness is everlasting to those who fear him.

【答】：上主的慈爱永远临于敬畏他的人。

 

Man's days are like those of grass; like a flower of the field he blooms; The wind sweeps over him and he is gone, and his place knows him no more.

领：世人的岁月与青草无异，又像田野的花茂盛一时，只要轻风吹过，他就不复存在，没有人认得出他原有的所在。

 

R. The Lord's kindness is everlasting to those who fear him.

【答】：上主的慈爱永远临于敬畏他的人。

 

But the kindness of the LORD is from eternity to eternity toward those who fear him, And his justice toward children's children among those who keep his covenant.

领：但上主的慈爱永远临于敬畏他的人，他的正义永远临于他们的子子孙孙：就是临于那些遵守他盟约的人。

 

R. The Lord's kindness is everlasting to those who fear him.

【答】：上主的慈爱永远临于敬畏他的人。

 

Gospel  MK 10:13-16

福音（谁若不像小孩子一样接受天主的国，决不能进去。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 10:13-16

 

People were bringing children to Jesus that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.

那时候，有人给耶稣领来一些小孩子，要他抚摸他们。门徒却斥责他们。

 

When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

耶稣见了，就生了气，对他们说：“让小孩到我跟前来，不要阻止他们，因为天主的国正属于这样的人。

 

Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the Kingdom of God like a child will not enter it." Then he embraced the children and blessed them, placing his hands on them.

我实在告诉你们：谁若不像小孩子一样接受天主的国，决不能进去。”耶稣遂抱起他们来，给他们覆手，祝福了他们。
