First Reading:  SIR 6:5-17

读经一（忠实的朋友是无价之宝。）

恭读德训篇 6:5-17

 

A kind mouth multiplies friends and appeases enemies, and gracious lips prompt friendly greetings. Let your acquaintances be many, but one in a thousand your confidant.

亲切温柔的言语，能使友人增多，并能感化仇人；同情的话，能使友好的往来敦厚。与你要好的人应多，然而作你参谋的，只千中取一。

 

When you gain a friend, first test him, and be not too ready to trust him. For one sort is a friend when it suits him, but he will not be with you in time of distress.

如要交友，先要考验，不要立刻信任他。因为有的人，只是一时的朋友；在你困难的日子，就不见了。

 

Another is a friend who becomes an enemy, and tells of the quarrel to your shame.

有的朋友，一旦变成仇人，就把你争执的事和仇恨，泄漏出来，为凌辱你。

 

Another is a friend, a boon companion, who will not be with you when sorrow comes. When things go well, he is your other self, and lords it over your servants;

有的人是酒肉朋友，在你困难的日子，就不见了。你幸福的时候，他和你同心，对你的仆婢，也任意使唤；

 

But if you are brought low, he turns against you and avoids meeting you. Keep away from your enemies; be on your guard with your friends.

若你遭了难，他就翻脸攻击你，回避你。但对于良好的友谊，你应恒一不变。你当远离你的仇人，慎重对待你的朋友。

 

A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter; he who finds one finds a treasure. A faithful friend is beyond price, no sum can balance his worth.

忠实的朋友，是稳固的保障；谁寻得了他，就是寻得了宝藏。忠实的朋友，是无价之宝，他的高贵无法衡量：金银也比不上他忠实的美好。

 

A faithful friend is a life-saving remedy, such as he who fears God finds; For he who fears God behaves accordingly, and his friend will be like himself.

忠实的朋友，是生命和不死的妙药；惟有敬畏上主的人，才能寻得。敬畏上主的人，才有真正的友谊，因为他怎样，他的朋友也怎样。

Open my eyes, that I may consider the wonders of your law.

领：求你开明我的眼睛，透视你法律的奇能。

Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wondrous deeds.

领：请指给我你的约法和路径，我要沉思你的奇妙工程。

Give me discernment, that I may observe your law and keep it with all my heart.

Lead me in the path of your commands, for in it I delight.

Gospel  MK10:1-12

福音（天主所结合的，人不可拆散。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 10:1-12

 

Jesus came into the district of Judea and across the Jordan. Again crowds gathered around him and, as was his custom, he again taught them.

那时候，耶稣来到犹太境界，约旦河的对岸，群众又聚集到他那里，他又照常教训他们。

 

The Pharisees approached him and asked, "Is it lawful for a husband to divorce his wife?" They were testing him. He said to them in reply, "What did Moses command you?"

有些法利塞人前来问耶稣：“许不许丈夫休妻？”意思是要试探他。耶稣回答他们说：“梅瑟吩咐了你们什么？”

 

They replied, "Moses permitted a husband to write a bill of divorce and dismiss her." But Jesus told them, "Because of the hardness of your hearts he wrote you this commandment.

他们说：“梅瑟准许了写休书休妻。”耶稣对他们说：“这是为了你们的心硬，他才给你们写下了这条法令。

 

But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two but one flesh.

但是，从创造之初，天主造了他们一男一女。为此，人要离开他的父母，依附自己的妻子，二人成为一体，以致他们再不是两个，而是一体了。

 

Therefore what God has joined together, no human being must separate."

所以，天主所结合的，人不可拆散。”

 

In the house the disciples again questioned Jesus about this. He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her; and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”

回到家里，门徒又问他这事，耶稣对他们说：“谁若休自己的妻子而另娶，就是犯奸淫，辜负妻子；若妻子离弃自己的丈夫而另嫁，也是犯奸淫。”
