First Reading: MAL 3:1-4

读经一（你们所寻求的上主，必会突然进入他的殿内。）

恭读玛拉基亚先知书 3:1-4

 

Thus says the Lord God: Lo, I am sending my messenger to prepare the way before me; And suddenly there will come to the temple the LORD whom you seek, And the messenger of the covenant whom you desire.

上主天主说：“我要派遣我的使者，在我前面预备道路。你们所寻求的上主，必要忽然进入他的殿内。你们所期望的盟约使者！

 

Yes, he is coming, says the LORD of hosts. But who will endure the day of his coming? And who can stand when he appears? For he is like the refiner's fire, or like the fuller's lye.

看！他来了──万军的上主说。”但是，他来临之日，有谁能支持得住？他显现时，有谁能站立得住？因为他像炼金者用的炉火，又像漂布者用的卤汁。

 

He will sit refining and purifying silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, Refining them like gold or like silver that they may offer due sacrifice to the LORD.

他必要坐下，像个溶化和炼净白银的人，炼净肋未的子孙，精炼他们，像精炼金银一样，使他们能怀着虔诚，向上主奉献祭品。

 

Then the sacrifice of Judah and Jerusalem will please the LORD, as in the days of old, as in years gone by.

那时，犹大和耶路撒冷所献的祭品，必能悦乐上主，有如昔日和往年。

【答】：谁是这位光荣的君王？他就是上主。

 

Who is this king of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle.

领：谁是这位光荣的君主？就是英勇大能的上主，是那有力作战的天主。

【答】：谁是这位光荣的君王？他就是上主。

Second Reading : HEB 2:14-18

读经二（基督在各方面和我们相似，为补赎我们的罪过。）

恭读致希伯来人书 2:14-18

 

Since the children share in blood and flesh, Jesus likewise shared in them, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the Devil,

孩子既然都有同样的血肉，基督也取了同样的血肉，为能藉著死亡，毁灭那握有死亡的权势者——魔鬼，

 

and free those who through fear of death had been subject to slavery all their life. Surely he did not help angels but rather the descendants of Abraham;

并解救那些因死亡的恐怖，一生当奴隶的人。其实，他没有援助天使，而援助了亚巴郎的后裔。

 

therefore, he had to become like his brothers and sisters in every way, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest before God to expiate the sins of the people.

因此，他应当在各方面相似弟兄们，好能在关于天主的事上，成为一位仁慈和忠信的大司祭，以补赎人民的罪恶。

 

Because he himself was tested through what he suffered, he is able to help those who are being tested.

他既然亲自经过试探，受了苦，也必能扶助那受试探的人。

Gospel  LK 2:22-40

福音（我亲眼看见了你的救援。）

恭读圣路加福音 2:22-40

 

When the days were completed for their purification according to the law of Moses, Mary and Joseph took Jesus up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, just as it is written in the law of the Lord,

按梅瑟的法律，一满了他们取洁的日期，耶稣的父母——若瑟和玛利亚，便带着孩子上耶路撒冷，去献给上主，就如上主法律所吩咐的：

 

Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord, and to offer the sacrifice of a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons, in accordance with the dictate in the law of the Lord.

凡开胎首生的男性，应祝圣于上主。”并该照上主法律所吩咐的，献上祭品：一对斑鸠或两只雏鸽。

 

Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

那时，在耶路撒冷有一个人，名叫西默盎。这人正义虔诚，期待着以色列的安慰，而且圣神也在他身上。

 

It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord. He came in the Spirit into the temple;

他曾蒙圣神启示：自己在未看见上主的受傅者以前，决见不到死亡。西默盎因圣神感动，进入圣殿；

 

and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform the custom of the law in regard to him, he took him into his arms and blessed God, saying:

那时，抱着婴孩耶稣的父母正进来，要按照法律的惯例，为耶稣行礼。西默盎就双臂接过耶稣，赞美天主说：

 

Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word, for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you prepared in the sight of all the peoples: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel.

主啊！现在可照你的话，放你的仆人平安去吧！因为我亲眼看见了，你在万民前准备好的救援：为作启示异邦的光明，你百姓以色列的荣耀。

 

The child's father and mother were amazed at what was said about him; and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother,

婴孩耶稣的父亲和母亲，就惊异西默盎所说关于耶稣的这番话。西默盎祝福了他们，又向耶稣的母亲玛利亚说：

 

Behold, this child is destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be contradicted and you yourself a sword will pierce so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

看，这孩子已被立定，为使以色列中许多人跌倒和复兴，并成为反对的记号。至于你，要有一把利剑，刺透你的心灵，为叫许多人心中的思念，显露出来。

 

There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived seven years with her husband after her marriage, and then as a widow until she was eighty-four.

又有一位女先知亚纳，是阿协尔支派法奴耳的女儿，已上了年纪。她出嫁后，同丈夫住了七年，以后就守寡，直到八十四岁。

 

She never left the temple, but worshiped night and day with fasting and prayer. And coming forward at that very time, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem.

她斋戒祈祷，昼夜事奉天主，总不离开圣殿。正在那时候，她也前来称谢天主，并向所有希望耶路撒冷得到救赎的人，讲论这孩子。

 

When they had fulfilled all the prescriptions of the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.

耶稣的父母按照上主的法律，办完了一切，便返回加里肋亚，他们的本城纳匝肋。

 

The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him.

孩子渐渐长大而强壮，充满智慧；天主的恩宠常在他身上。
