Saturday after Epiphany

First Reading:  1 Jn 5:14-21

读经一（无论我们向天主求什么，他必俯听我们。）

恭读圣若望一书 5:14-21

 

Beloved: We have this confidence in him that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

可爱的诸位：我们对天主所怀的依恃之心就是：如果我们按他的旨意求什么，他必俯听我们。

 

And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, we know that what we have asked him for is ours.

我们既然知道：我们不拘向他祈求什么，他会俯听我们，我们也知道向他所祈求的，必要得到。

 

If anyone sees his brother sinning, if the sin is not deadly, he should pray to God and he will give him life. This is only for those whose sin is not deadly.

谁若看见自己的弟兄犯了不致于死的罪，就应当祈求，天主必赏赐他生命：这是为那些犯不致于死的罪人而说的；

 

There is such a thing as deadly sin, about which I do not say that you should pray. All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that is not deadly.

然而有的罪却是致于死的罪，为这样的罪，我不说要人祈求。任何的不义都是罪过，但也有不致于死的罪过。

 

We know that anyone begotten by God does not sin; but the one begotten by God he protects, and the Evil One cannot touch him.

我们知道：凡由天主生的，就不犯罪过；而且由天主生的那一位必保全他，那恶者不能侵犯他。

 

We know that we belong to God, and the whole world is under the power of the Evil One. We also know that the Son of God has come and has given us discernment to know the one who is true.

我们知道我们属于天主，而全世界却屈服于恶者。我们也知道天主子来了，赐给了我们理智，叫我们认识那真实者；

 

And we are in the one who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ.  He is the true God and eternal life. Children, be on your guard against idols.

我们确实是在那真实者内，即在他的子耶稣基督内，他即是真实的天主和永远的生命。孩子们，你们要谨慎，远避偶像﹗

【答】：上主喜爱自己的百姓。

 

Sing to the LORD a new song of praise in the assembly of the faithful. Let Israel be glad in their maker, let the children of Zion rejoice in their king.

领：请你们向上主讴唱新歌，在圣者集会中向他祝贺！愿以色列因自己的创造者而踊跃，愿熙雍子民因自己的君王而欢乐！

 

R. The Lord takes delight in his people.

【答】：上主喜爱自己的百姓。

 

Let them praise his name in the festive dance, let them sing praise to him with timbrel and harp. For the LORD loves his people, and he adorns the lowly with victory.

领：愿他们以舞蹈赞美上主的名，愿他们敲鼓弹琴向上主歌咏！因为上主喜爱自己的百姓，赏赐谦虚的人凯旋而得胜。

 

R. The Lord takes delight in his people.

【答】：上主喜爱自己的百姓。

 

Let the faithful exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their couches; Let the high praises of God be in their throats. This is the glory of all his faithful. Alleluia.

领：愿圣徒因所受的光荣而喜庆，在床榻上欢呼而歌颂。愿赞美天主的歌辞在他们的口中，这也就是一切圣徒的光荣。

【答】：上主喜爱自己的百姓。

 

Gospel  Jn 3:22-30

福音（新郎的朋友，一听到新郎的声音，就非常喜乐。）

恭读圣若望福音 3:22-30

 

Jesus and his disciples went into the region of Judea, where he spent some time with them baptizing.

那时候，耶稣和门徒来到犹太地，同他们一起住在那里施洗。

 

John was also baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was an abundance of water there, and people came to be baptized, for John had not yet been imprisoned.

那时若翰也在临近撒林的艾农施洗，因为那里水多，人们常来受洗。那时，若翰尚未被投在监里。

 

Now a dispute arose between the disciples of John and a Jew about ceremonial washings.

若翰的门徒和一个犹太人，关于取洁礼发生了争辩。

 

So they came to John and said to him, "Rabbi, the one who was with you across the Jordan, to whom you testified, here he is baptizing and everyone is coming to him."

他们便来到若翰前对他说：“辣彼！曾同你一起在约旦河对岸，你给他作证的那位，看，他也施洗；并且众人都到他那里去了。”

 

John answered and said, "No one can receive anything except what has been given from heaven. You yourselves can testify that I said that I am not the Christ, but that I was sent before him.

若翰回答说：“人不能领受什么，除非有天上的赏赐。你们自己可以给我作证，我曾说过：我不是默西亚，我只是被派遣作他前躯的。

 

The one who has the bride is the bridegroom; the best man, who stands and listens for him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine has been made complete.

有新娘的是新郎；新郎的朋友，侍立静听，一听得新郎的声音，就非常喜乐：我的喜乐已满足了。

 

He must increase; I must decrease."

他应该兴盛，我却应该衰微。”
