First Reading:  1 JN 4:19–5:4

读经一（爱天主的人，也该爱自己的弟兄。）

恭读圣若望一书 4:19-5:4

 

Beloved, we love God because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," but hates his brother, he is a liar; for whoever does not love a brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

弟兄们：我们应该爱，因为天主先爱了我们。假使有人说：我爱天主，但他却恼恨自己的弟兄，便是撒谎的；因为那不爱自己所看见的弟兄的，就不能爱自己所看不见的天主。

 

This is the commandment we have from him: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

我们从他蒙受了这命令：那爱天主的，也该爱自己的弟兄。

 

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is begotten by God, and everyone who loves the Father loves also the one begotten by him.

凡信耶稣为默西亚的，是由天主所生的：凡爱生他之父的，也必爱那由他所生的。

 

In this way we know that we love the children of God when we love God and obey his commandments. For the love of God is this, that we keep his commandments.

几时我们爱天主，又遵行他的诫命，由此知道我们真爱天主的子女。原来爱天主，就是遵行他的诫命，

 

And his commandments are not burdensome, for whoever is begotten by God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith.

而他的诫命并不沉重，因为凡是天主所生的，必得胜世界：得胜世界的胜利武器，就是我们的信德。

O God, with your judgment endow the king, and with your justice, the king's son; He shall govern your people with justice and your afflicted ones with judgment.

领：天主，求你给君王传授你的权柄。求你给太子传授你的公正。使他照正义统治你的百姓，使他按公道管理你的平民。

 

R. Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.

【答】：上主，普世万民都要朝拜你。

 

From fraud and violence he shall redeem them, and precious shall their blood be in his sight. May they be prayed for continually; day by day shall they bless him.

领：他要救他们脱离残暴与压迫，他们的血在他眼中珍贵无比。愿人们时常为他祈祷，不断为他求恩。

 

R. Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.

【答】：上主，普世万民都要朝拜你。

 

May his name be blessed forever; as long as the sun his name shall remain. In him shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed; all the nations shall proclaim his happiness.

领：他的名号常存，永受赞扬，他的名号永留，与日争光。万邦要因他而得福，万民要称他为有福。

【答】：上主，普世万民都要朝拜你。

 

Gospel  LK 4:14-22

福音（你们刚才听过的这段圣经，今天应验了。）

恭读圣路加福音 4:14-22

 

Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news of him spread throughout the whole region. He taught in their synagogues and was praised by all.

耶稣因圣神的德能，回到加里肋亚。他的名声传遍了临近各地。他在他们的会堂内施教，受到众人的称扬。

 

He came to Nazareth, where he had grown up, and went according to his custom into the synagogue on the Sabbath day.

他来到了纳匝肋，自己曾受教养的地方；照他的习惯，就在安息日那天进了会堂，并站起来要诵读。

 

He stood up to read and was handed a scroll of the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor.

有人把依撒意亚先知书递给他；他遂展开书卷，找到了一处，上边写说：“上主的神临于我身上，因为他给我傅了油，派遣我向贫穷人传报喜讯，

 

He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.

向俘虏宣告释放，向盲者宣告复明，使受压迫者获得自由，宣布上主恩慈之年。”

 

Rolling up the scroll, he handed it back to the attendant and sat down, and the eyes of all in the synagogue looked intently at him.

他把书卷卷起来，交给侍役，就坐下了。会堂内众人的眼睛都注视着他。

 

He said to them, "Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing." And all spoke highly of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his mouth.

他便开始对他们说：“你们刚才听过的这段圣经，今天应验了。”众人都称赞他，惊奇他口中所说的动听的话。
