First Reading:  1 JN 4:7-10

读经一（天主是爱。）

恭读圣若望一书 4:7-10

 

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.

可爱的诸位，我们应该彼此相爱，因为爱是出于天主；凡有爱的，都是生于天主，也认识天主；那不爱的，也不认识天主，因为天主是爱。

 

In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might have life through him.

天主对我们的爱在这事上已显出来：就是天主把自己的独生子，打发到世界上来，好使我们藉着他得到生命。

 

In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.

爱就在于此：不是我们爱了天主，而是他爱了我们，且打发自己的儿子，为我们做赎罪祭。

【答】：上主，普世万民都要朝拜你。

 

O God, with your judgment endow the king, and with your justice, the king's son; He shall govern your people with justice and your afflicted ones with judgment.

领：天主，求你给君王传授你的权柄，求你给太子传授你的公正。使他照正义统治你的百姓，使他按公道管理你的平民。

 

R. Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.

【答】：上主，普世万民都要朝拜你。

 

The mountains shall yield peace for the people, and the hills justice. He shall defend the afflicted among the people, save the children of the poor.

领：愿高山给人民带来和平；愿丘岭为百姓送来公正！他必卫护百姓中的穷人，救助穷苦人的子孙。

R. Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.

【答】：上主，普世万民都要朝拜你。

 

Justice shall flower in his days, and profound peace, till the moon be no more. May he rule from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

领：在他的岁月中，正义必要兴盛，到处国泰民安，直至月亮失明。他将统治大地，从这海到那海，由大河的流域，至地极的边界。

 

R. Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.

【答】：上主，普世万民都要朝拜你。

 

Gospel  MK 6:34-44

福音（耶稣藉著增饼显出他是个先知。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 6:34-44

 

When Jesus saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, for they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.

那时候，耶稣一下船，看见一大伙群众，就对他们动了怜悯的心，因为他们好像没有牧人的羊，遂开口教训他们许多事。

 

By now it was already late and his disciples approached him and said, "This is a deserted place and it is already very late. Dismiss them so that they can go to the surrounding farms and villages and buy themselves something to eat."

时间已经很晚了，他的门徒来到他跟前说：“这地方是荒野，且时间已经很晚了，请你遣散他们，好叫他们往四周田舍村庄去，各自买东西吃。”

 

He said to them in reply, "Give them some food yourselves."

耶稣却回答说：“你们自己给他们吃的吧！”

 

But they said to him, "Are we to buy two hundred days' wages worth of food and give it to them to eat?" He asked them, "How many loaves do you have? Go and see."

门徒向他说：“我们去买二百块银钱的饼给他们吃吗？”耶稣问他们说：“你们有多少饼？去看看！”

 

And when they had found out they said, "Five loaves and two fish." So he gave orders to have them sit down in groups on the green grass.

他们一知道了，就说：“五个饼，两条鱼。”于是耶稣吩咐他们，叫众人一伙一伙地坐在青草地上。

 

The people took their places in rows by hundreds and by fifties.

人们就一组一组地坐下：或一百人或五十人。

 

Then, taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; he also divided the two fish among them all.

耶稣拿起那五个饼和那两条鱼来，举目向天，祝福了，把饼擘开，递给门徒，叫他们摆在众人面前，把两条鱼也分给众人。

 

They all ate and were satisfied. And they picked up twelve wicker baskets full of fragments and what was left of the fish. Those who ate of the loaves were five thousand men.

众人吃了，也都饱了；人就把剩余的碎块收了满满十二筐还有鱼的碎块。吃饼的，男人就有五千。
